About Sunrise Montessori in Round Rock, TX

Our Montessori Programs
- NIDO LEVEL – Children 8 weeks to 9 months
- BAMBINI LEVEL – Children 9 to 18 months
- PRE-PRIMARY LEVEL – Children 18 months to 3 years old and wearing diapers
- PRIMARY LEVEL – Children who are 2.8 to 6 years old and toilet trained

The atmosphere at Sunrise Montessori is like that of a family: we care for and help each other in a positive, reaffirming way. We encourage this characteristic because it extends the learning everywhere and with anyone. Education is not limited to a designated teacher or instructor, but primarily performed by the child themselves. This approach promotes learning to continue through the home, as well.

Holidays
Sunrise Montessori loosely follows the Round Rock ISD holiday schedule.
Bad Weather Days
To determine if our school will be closed due to bad weather, check the Round Rock ISD website early the morning of the possible bad weather day. There will be a message at the top of their home page if the district is closing down.

Our Team
Amy Esparza
School Director
Amy Esparza was born and raised in Austin and has spent most of her life in the Central Texas area. She has earned her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership. Over the past 20+ years, she has had the privilege of teaching, leading, and serving in Director roles across multiple private childcare schools, including opening and operating three facilities. She believes every child deserves a nurturing environment where they feel loved, encouraged, and supported as they grow and develop at their own pace. Her goal is always to create a positive, safe, and inspiring space for both children and educators.
Her greatest accomplishments are her two grown sons, Isaac and Jacob. They are the inspiration behind her passion for early childhood education and the reason she entered this field in the early 2000s.

Nataley Martinez
Assistant Director
Nataley Martinez began her career in early childhood education in 2019 when she joined Amazing Explorers Academy as an Administrative Assistant/Enrollment Coordinator. She has credited that opportunity as the one that ignited her passion for her work, where she positively impacted on the lives of children and families while she supported the daily operations of a childcare program. Her goal as the Assistant Director at Sunrise Montessori, Round Rock is to continue using her experience and leadership skills to help create a high quality program where children, families, and staff can thrive.
What she loves most about early childhood education is having the opportunity to make a positive difference in a child’s life during their most important years of growth and development. She believes day is a chance to help children learn, build confidence, and discover the world around them through love, patience, and encouragement.
Outside of school she enjoys spending time with her family and creating lasting memories with her daughter. She has a passion for softball, where she enjoys mentoring athletes. She also loves being outdoors and finding new ways to learn and grow personally and professionally.
