Each month, our teachers focus on developing valuable character traits like friendship, thankfulness, and a positive self-image. We have found that when we focus on the emotional well-being of each child in our care, we also strengthen our school!
Our extraordinary teachers form the foundation for our Kind Child program. We provide our teachers with resources and training to help bring awareness to their own emotions and intentionality to their practice so they can form strong teacher-student relationships, model emotional competency, and positively influence their students’ outcomes and perceptions of school.
Children need nurturing and guidance to make kindness a habit. Our directors, teachers, and staff are committed to practicing kindness in their daily interactions with each child and with each other. The result? A Kind School where everyone feels welcome and valued.
The mission of Kind Child doesn’t stop at our school. We want to spread kindness into our community too. Our school regularly participates in local volunteer activities and we recently became a nationwide partner of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the world’s leading hospital working to cure childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
