About Cadence Academy Preschool in East Bridgewater, MA
Our goal at Cadence Academy Preschool (formerly Busy Bee Preschool ChildCare) is to educate – to lend knowledge, skills, abilities, experiences and variety in a warm, safe and fun-filled environment. Our true desire is to educate all children in all ways. We believe our classrooms provide a combination of both old and new views and are full of creative and motivating ideas. Our classrooms create environments that your child will remember for a lifetime.
Our Programs
Infant Care – A full day program for children 4 weeks to 15 months, where the goals are to:
- Develop social skills & friendships
- Develop verbal skills
- Explore & become curious
- Bond with others
- Develop fine motor skills & large motor skills
Toddler Program – A full day program for children 15 months to 2.9 years, where the goals are to:
- Develop verbal & language skills
- Develop good eating habits
- Learn to separate from family with ease
- Develop academic awareness
- Build attention spans
- Follow routines independently
Nursery Program – A full day program for children 2.9 to 4 years old, where the goals are:
- Building communication skills
- Growing independence
- Recognition of some shapes & numbers
- Recognition of opposite & positional phrases
- Group work and expanding awareness
Pre-Kindergarten – A full day program for children 4-5 years old, where the goals are:
- Reading readiness
- Music and Art
- Self-Awareness and increased confidence
- Memory and sequencing
- Expanding attention spans
- Adapting to teamwork and group projects

School Director
I joined Cadence in July 2024 as the School Director with over 22 years of early childhood experience. I thoroughly enjoy building meaningful relationships with the teachers and families and making a positive impact in the children’s growth and development. I love watching the children grow and reach their milestones every day! In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, and going to the beach.

Assistant Director
With nearly 21 years of service and over 25 years of experience in childcare, dating back to 1996, I am a proud parent of three children: Anna, who is 18 and in college; Amy, who is 15 and shares my passion for volleyball; and Joseph, who is 12 years old and exhibits kindness and compassion. In my leisure time, I enjoy listening to music, traveling, and spending quality time with my family. I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with you and look forward to witnessing the growth and development of your children within our care.

Teacher of the Year
I have an Associate’s degree from Fisher College and am certified in first aid and CPR. I have been a teacher for over 30 years and I love what I do! I am married and live with my husband in East Bridgewater. We have 3 grown sons and 6 grandchildren. In my spare time, I love to walk and read and be with my family. It has been very rewarding to be part of so many families over the years. I have enjoyed seeing former students come back as employees or as parents themselves. I am looking forward to working with your child at Cadence Academy Preschool!
