About Horizon Learning Center Preschool in Lacey, WA
Horizon Learning Center uses an emergent curriculum focused on the child’s individual strengths, interests & developmental needs of each child within the class. The curriculum is research based and incorporates observation & assessment into our daily planning; the teacher observes each child throughout the week, documents their observations and creates a weekly plan of activities to meet each child’s needs. Individualization is an important part of our center that we believe strengthens each child’s skills.

Horizon Learning Center is Nationally Accredited through the National Association of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC is one of the most prestigious accrediting organizations. NAEYC is recognized for their high standards of quality that all accredited centers are required to achieve and maintain.

Horizon Learning Center will be a Washington State Early Achievers participant. Early Achievers is a quality rating program that empowers early learning professionals through coaching and resources to provide high-quality care that supports each child’s learning and development, so they are prepared to be successful in school and life.
