In 2025, the Texas Legislature passed Senate Bill 2 and provided $1 billion in funding to create the Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) program and give parents greater freedom and flexibility in choosing the best educational environment for their children.
The TEFA program, administered by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, is expected to be the largest day-one school choice initiative in the nation.
Important Note from TEFA: High demand might be causing applications to be put in a queue. Texas families: TEFA applications are not first-come, first-served. You have until March 17 to apply, and timing won’t affect priority.

Cadence KickStart™ Soccer is a high-energy enrichment program designed to build confidence, coordination, and teamwork through fun, age-appropriate soccer play. Led by the teachers your child already knows and trusts, it’s seamlessly built into the school day.
Program Highlights:
- Designed for ages 3–5
- 12-week program (once per week)
- 40–50 minute sessions
- Builds balance, coordination, and motor skills
- Encourages listening, teamwork, and confidence
- No prior soccer experience needed

At our San Antonio preschool, we offer a safe and fun environment for your child. We provide outdoor learning spaces as well as multiple playgrounds so that every child can enjoy their time here at the center! Our school is located on the Far West Side of San Antonio, Texas, on Wildhorse Parkway, outside loop 1601 and Braun Rd. We have the advantage of being located right next to our neighborhood elementary school, Dean H. Krueger, and we also serve the nearby areas of Helotes and Alamitos Ranch.

School Director
I have worked in early childhood education for 20 years. I started with Cadence Academy-Wildhorse in September of 2010 as a preschool teacher in a 3-year-old classroom. I then moved into school leadership as the assistant director in 2014 and then eventually took over as the school director in 2019. I love early childhood education because it builds the foundation for lifelong learning. Children are curious, eager to explore, and open to new experiences at this age, making it a perfect time to foster their natural creativity, critical thinking, and social skills. I look forward to meeting new families and get excited to know each family as a whole will flourish from our school and the programs we offer. I take great pride in building life-long relationships with the families that walk through our doors every day and leading a team that is just as passionate as I am for early childhood education. When I am not at work I enjoy being around family and friends and looking for new adventures. I have a 15 year-old daughter that keeps me busy as her personal Uber driver but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Beyond her own classroom, Leticia is a leader among her peers. She is a trusted mentor, offering guidance and insight to fellow teachers. What stands out most is the atmosphere she creates in her classroom. When I walk in, the children are not rushing over to say hello—they are too engaged in meaningful, hands-on learning experiences. Leticia transitions effortlessly between activities using songs and rhythms, keeping the energy positive and the children captivated. She embraces wet and messy play with enthusiasm, ensuring every day is filled with fun, creativity, and discovery.
