About Cadence Academy Preschool
As a Licensed Child Development Private School providing care for Infants through Kindergarten-Prep, we understand how crucial these early years are to children’s success in school and life. That’s why our professional, dedicated staff always strives to engage our children with interactive learning activities designed to stimulate cognitive, socio-emotional, and physical development. We are extremely excited and honored to help your child achieve these important developmental milestones while building a love of learning.

What Makes Us Unique
In order to provide the optimal learning environment and experience, we created our own signature curriculum: Ascend Curriculum. Our special program is filled with the following key components: baby signs, fine motor skills, art, music & movement, fun with fitness, literacy skills, Spanish, math focus, science, computers & technology, social studies, handwriting without tears, and Zoo-phonics. We also incorporate a kindness lesson with a focus on character building daily in our classrooms. Our extracurricular activities include Tumble Gym, Happy feet, and Computer. Perhaps the best part of this unique curriculum—aside from the awesome learning experience it gives kids—is how much parents get to participate in the fun! Since our preschool is conveniently located in the office towers in which many of our parents work, they can drop in often and see what their kids are up to. For those with little ones, the nursery is always available for some lunch-break snuggle time!

Blanche Van Dyck
Director
I have worked in education for over 10 years and have taught children of all ages from infants through college. I have a Bachelor of Applied Arts with minors in environmental science, justice conflict, and peace studies from Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
I am passionate about providing a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment and providing a positive impact on children. I’m originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo and speak 5 languages fluently. French is my first language.
Wanda Walker
Teacher
I have been in early childhood education for 25 years. I earned by CDA with a focus on the infant and toddler age groups. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy watching the children grow during their time in my classroom. I have three children of my own. I enjoy spending time with my family and going to the movies.
Isabel Cortes
Teacher
I have been in early childhood education for 9 years. I attended college in Mexico before moving to Texas. I am passionate about teaching and making a personal connection with each child in my classroom. I am married and have four children of my own. I enjoy spending time with family and also going to the gym.

NAC Accreditation
The National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs (NAC) is a national accreditation program that was developed for early care and educational programs. NAC offers early childhood leaders the opportunity to demonstrate and document quality performance using research-based criteria and evidence-based practices. The National Accreditation Commission provides a comprehensive, ongoing quality improvement system and accredited schools must meet standards in the following 6 component areas: Administration, Family Engagement, Health and Safety, Curriculum, Interactions between Teachers and Children, and Classroom Health and Safety.
