Kind Child is a wonderful program that nurtures and strengthens social skills and develops valuable character traits. Preschool children need much more than intellectual development during their early educational experiences and Kind Child is the perfect way for our teachers to focus time each month on social and emotional development.
We introduce new social-emotional skills every month and a different character trait like Responsibility, Thankfulness, and a Positive Self-Image every two months. We have found that when we focus on the emotional well-being of each child in our care, we also strengthen our school!
AdvancED is the largest community of education professionals in the world and is deeply committed to the care and education of young children. Preschools and child care centers that earn Early Learning Accreditation through AdvancED must meet or exceed educational standards and provide a safe, encouraging, and nurturing environment that supports the development of young children. Cadence Academy Preschool of Bent Tree has been AdvancED Accredited since June 2011.
