About Cadence Academy Preschool
Cadence Academy Preschool offers children a world of choices, small class sizes and an educational experience that is second to none. A child’s learning success is assured by simple activities that match developmental abilities and provide foundations for later, more complex skills.
We partner with our families on the achievement of big milestones in a child’s life. Whether it is the challenge of potty training or reading first words, these important moments are approached with love, patience and understanding. Cadence Academy Preschool’s programming is thoughtfully planned to encourage self-directed skills and independence, while at the same time encouraging a sense of sharing and cooperation.
Outside of the classroom, our incredible playgrounds allow imaginations to blossom and bodies to grow. Our school has multiple age-appropriate playgrounds that children enjoy every day! We are so much more than your typical daycare center with amazing activities and curriculum at each step of your child’s life.

3 Star-Quality Child Care
Tennessee’s Star-Quality Program has recognized child care centers that meet a higher standard of quality care since 2000. Once a daycare center or preschool qualifies for this program, they can achieve 1, 2, or 3 stars. Cadence Academy Preschool, Spring Hill has earned a 3 star rating, which is the highest rating the state awards.
What Makes Us Unique
A child must first accept and trust a new adult in their world. The warm attentiveness of our caregivers allows children to be happy and thrive while in our care. By providing an atmosphere that is physically safe and emotionally warm, children feel secure and confident.
One of the highlights at Cadence Academy is our infant program: We know that starting the youngest children off on the right track is important. With a bright classroom and great curriculum offerings, our infant program is a great choice!
We understand how much our families want to stay connected with their child’s day and development. By partnering with our families, we chart a course for open and honest communication, sharing ideas and monitoring progress together.
One of the ways we do this is through our Kid Reports: Our web-based daily reporting system is so much more than diapers and meals! Details about activities, pictures of your child and a variety of ways to see the information throughout the day make this an important part of our program!
We are proud to accept Families First, which is the state assistance program. Meals and snacks are included in tuition.
More About Our School
You can find us in Spring Hill, Tennessee, on Highway 31 at Campbell Station Parkway, in between the McDonald’s and Wendy’s. We are located right near everything in the main part of Spring Hill. We are a growing town but still small! The shopping center is at one end, while the businesses and restaurants are at the other end before Thompson’s Station.
I have worked in education for over 20 years and have a Bachelor’s in Christian Education from Jackson College of Ministries. I also attended Sacramento City College and Cosumnes River College, where I completed 34 additional Early Childhood units.
I married my college sweetheart, Dustin, 18 years ago. We have 2 beautiful daughters: Maelee,16, and Madelyn, 13. We live in Spring Hill, where my husband is pastoring a new church plant. I enjoy reading, cooking, cleaning and organizing, singing, and playing the piano. My favorite thing is spending time with my family and close friends. I was born and raised in Starks, LA and my fondest memories of childhood were our huge family cookouts and get-togethers.
Ms. Tanya has been with Cadence Academy since 2006. She came to us with many years of personal, volunteer, and work experience. Tanya is a proud wife of a retired Army officer. Throughout her husband’s military career they moved 13 times around the continental USA, Alaska, and Germany. During his 23 years on active duty and 3 extended war deployments, Tanya was very involved in the Family Readiness Groups and other volunteer agencies at each duty station. Together, she and her husband have raised one daughter and two sons, all of whom have grown into wonderful, successful young adults. She wishes to express her sincere gratitude to the parents and families here for allowing her to be a part of your child’s growing and learning experience.
