Ascend Curriculum

Thanks to the flexibility of our Ascend Curriculum, we take an individualized approach to early childhood education and encourage every child to progress towards age-appropriate goals at their natural pace. New skills are introduced sequentially in 9 different learning domains each month and activities are modified to fit the interests and current skill level of each child. This skill-based approach to early education ensures that every child feels engaged, supported, and challenged and makes learning fun!

Our Team

Jacqueline Landry

School Director

Jacqueline Landry serves as Director at Cadence Academy Preschool and brings a lifelong passion for early childhood education to her role. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Education from Binghamton University and a Master’s degree in Education from Salem State University. Jacqueline began her journey in the field at just 17 years old as a part-time floater at Creative Kids Beekman. Her career has since grown through Assistant Director roles and hands-on experience in a variety of settings, ultimately leading her back to Beekman in a meaningful full-circle moment. She is deeply inspired by the early years, where a lifelong love of learning begins, and finds great joy in watching children grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity.

Jacqueline is committed to creating a positive, supportive school environment built on strong relationships and open communication. She values partnering with families and working closely with her team to ensure each child’s experience is smooth, nurturing, and enriching. Outside of school, Jacqueline enjoys traveling with her husband, exploring the Hudson Valley, and spending time with family and friends. She also loves long walks with her dog, Maple, and relaxing with puzzles, games, and her favorite shows.

Erika Giorgio

Assistant Director

I have been part of the Creative Kids team since 2005 and spent my earliest years working in the Infant Programs at our Brewster location. Working as a Lead Infant Teacher made me aware of how much I love being a part of each child’s milestones. Watching a baby’s first steps or hearing their first words and then celebrating those exciting moments with their families was the best part of my day. I took on the role of Assistant Director at our Beekman location in 2017 and this position has allowed me to take part in milestones in every classroom. Celebrating these milestones with an excited mom and dad is still my favorite part of my day.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, my nephews, and my niece. I enjoy playing soccer, softball, and living a well-balanced, active lifestyle.

Love CKB! Our daughter is 4 and this is our first daycare/classroom experience with her. She starts UPK in the fall & i think she will be well prepared for that new journey thanks to her wonderful teachers ! She has adjusted pretty fast & enjoys coming in. The kids are all wonderful and fun to be around in every class. Everyone who works here is sweet, attentive & accommodating.

Our experience with CKB was nothing short of amazing! The educators were not only incredibly caring but also highly skilled, providing an exceptional educational experience that significantly contributed to our tiny human's development. The nurturing environment made our child feel safe and supported, and we saw noticeable growth in both their learning and social skills. Every cent was well worth the outstanding care and attention they provided. We highly recommend CKB to any family looking for a center that truly prioritizes the well-being and growth of their child!
