About Our School
Creative Kids has been committed to providing young children safe and nurturing learning environments since we opened our doors in January 2001. Creative Kids Brewster was our first location and we now have five centers that serve families throughout Hudson Valley.
Our schools are a welcoming place where every child can grow socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Your child will participate in a wide variety of experiences where they’ll learn about themselves and the world around them.
- Infant Daycare (6 weeks – 18 months)
- Toddler Daycare (18 months – 3 years)
- Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten (3 – 5 years)
- Kindergarten Club (4 – 5 years)
- Before & After School (5 – 12 years)
Kind child is a program that helps us attend to the emotional well-being of every child in our care. We focus on developing valuable character traits such as Thankfulness, Friendship, and a Positive Self-Image every two months and different social-emotional skills monthly. Our goal is to create positive friendships throughout our school and to strengthen every child’s social skills.
The Creative Curriculum
Creative Kids utilizes The Creative Curriculum® in our classrooms. The Creative Curriculum® helps our teachers create a high-quality learning environment where children can become creative, confident thinkers. This curriculum is grounded in 38 research-based objectives for development and learning, which support active learning in all developmental areas.

I have spent the last 20 years working in the Early Childhood Education field, with 8 years of management experience. I started as a Teacher Assistant and have worked my way up to Director. Most of my experience I gained from my mother who owned her own childcare center for 30 years. I started as a student in her care and as I got older, started to work for her. When she closed the doors to her center, I began gaining experience through other schools. I began my journey with Creative Kids Brewster back in 2014 as Assistant Director (AD). In 2018, I left to help my mom open a business and as time went on, I truly began to miss working with children, and the joy that they bring to my heart each day. I returned to the Creative Kids family in 2020 as AD in our Yorktown location and am thrilled to be back home in Brewster and look forward to creating new memories with each child! I am dedicated to working closely with our families, children, and staff to ensure our school is providing exceptional care and education for all children every fun-filled day in an environment as nurturing as home!
If you would like to know more about Creative Kids, I welcome hearing from you. It would be my privilege to tell you more about our wonderful school!
I became involved in education because I enjoy working with children of all ages. I find it fulfilling to teach and guide young children towards becoming the very best person they can be! I graduated from Hamilton College in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in American Studies and joined Creative Kids as an Administrative Assistant in the Fall of 2016. As an administrator at Creative Kids, my goal to be a source of fun and education.
In my spare time, I enjoy going to concerts, camping, kayaking, and going to Yankee games.
