Cadence Academy Preschool in Cherry Hill, NJ offers comprehensive childcare programs and is proud to provide an exceptional education every fun-filled day in a place as nurturing as home.

Infant Daycare

Our infant rooms are staffed with caregivers certified in both CPR and First Aid who create personalized schedules for each child. Because we believe in parental involvement, especially at this young age, we create a daily report at drop off each morning to follow throughout the day. We know it is difficult to leave your infant in someone else’s care all day, so we do as much as we can to keep you in control of your child’s experience.

Toddler Daycare

The toddler day care programs are a little more structured, while still encouraging free expression. As early as 2.5 years old, we begin to introduce math concepts, alphabet recognition, early sight words, and sign language while also concentrating on improving gross motor skills. The goal of our toddler curriculum is to transition the children from a day care atmosphere to a classroom environment.

Preschool and Pre-K

At Cadence Academy in Cherry Hill, NJ all classrooms are run by certified teachers to ensure a rich learning environment. Our Preschool and Pre-K programs are more structured with daily scheduled activities that last 20 to 30 minutes. Individualized programs are created based on skill level to encourage all children to love learning and to be prepared to excel in Kindergarten and beyond.

We offer a learning environment in which children develop confidence, compassion, and encouragement for each other. Cadence Academy Preschool’s early childhood curriculum exposes children to life skills, language development, fine and gross motor skills, arts and crafts, music and movement, science, and mindful breathing.

We believe children are partners with us to create the best learning environment. A combination of direct instruction, learning through play, and of course, fun is used to encourage curiosity and instill a sense of security.

I am so happy to find cadence academy for my two children (2 and 5 yo). I feel confident that my kids are being well cared for and that they are actually learning. The 2yo class is warm all of the teachers have been great- Ms. Bea is bright and funny and very well loved by all the kids.. She also swooped in to suggest we potty train and has been right there with us making it happen at school. The pre-k class is academically rigorous, while still being imaginative and fun for the kids. and has pushed my son into a new level- beginning to read and write. He is excited to go to school and tells me all about his busy days when he gets home. Ms Melita and Ms Amber have lovingly seen us Through some behavior issues and have a great way of addressing issues while keeping it all in perspective. They have also put together a really impressive curriculum that we try to build on at home. Finally Ms Delilah, the director, has been so incredibly supportive - you can tell that she is invested in the school and in every family. She and Ms Maya welcome everyone each morning and really make the kids feel special I would recommend Cadence Academy 100%- I feel so lucky we found a place there.

My son started at Cadence Academy Preschool (Cherry Hill) towards the middle of October of this past year. He entered the Toddler 1 classroom, which I believe ranges from 18-24 months. From my first tour of the facility to interactions with staff, Cadence has been nothing but professional, communicative & caring. I love that their schedule reflects the needs of working parents, giving off for established holidays, but doesn't include multiple early closures or 4-day weekends or week-long holidays off. At my son's previous daycare, my husband and I found ourselves taking multiple days off or leaving work early to accommodate the daycare schedule and it became stressful. Additionally, Cadence organizes a calendar full of fun-filled days of learning related to the theme of the month. Students follow an organized schedule while experiencing a variety of learning activities daily, from hands-on centers to story time to outdoor play. My son has been talking more & seems to know things he was never taught at home. It's clear that he's engaging in the class & learning so much. Cadence uses Kaymbu, an app that I'm not entirely fond of, but parents receive announcements, pictures & feedback regarding their child's day. I love that I am constantly informed about what my son is doing every day, what he ate & how he napped. I never feel out of the loop. Lastly, and most importantly, I feel that my son is safe at Cadence. He hasn't experienced incidents of biting, hitting or just getting hurt in general, and he seems happy when we drop him off & pick him up. His teachers, Ms. Katie & Ms. Kendi, truly care about their class. They are always welcoming, kind & patient with the kids. We've had an amazing experience so far and are very grateful that our son was able to join Cadence.

It’s always so hard to leave your children in the care of others when working. I’ve been so grateful though for the loving care by the staff at Cadence. The director Delilah was my oldest daughter’s teacher (who still talks about her to this day) and now brings the warmth, care and dedication to the entire school as director. You will not meet a more responsive and kind person who truly goes and above and beyond for the kids experiences. My youngest is now with Miss Blanca and Miss Lisa and I can’t say enough how grateful we are for their amazing care. You know your baby is in good hands when she smiles upon getting to see her teachers! It takes a special heart to help little minds develop and we’ve been able to say that about every teacher our daughters have had at Cadence.

The director at Cadence was very helpful as we were looking at preschools for our son--super responsive and understanding. We also really like the school on our tour. The classrooms were big, bright, and clean, and the children all looked happy and well cared for.
