Parent Involvement
Parents are invited and encouraged to be involved in their child’s activities. There are many different ways in which parents can participate and volunteer at our academies. Parents may volunteer to attend trips, read in the classroom, assist teachers, and/or coordinate special events. Our teachers also post any upcoming volunteer opportunities in their classrooms.
Before & After School Program
We offer a wonderful before and after school program for school-age children that keeps them busy with planned, age-appropriate activities. The Before & After Program is offered for children kindergarten age through 12-years-old on school days, and full-day programs are offered during school breaks.
We provide free transportation to and from the following elementary schools:
- DeSoto Central Elementary
- DeSoto Central Primary
- Pleasant Hill Elementary (After Care)

School Director
I started working in early childhood after my daughter was born nearly 23 years ago. I began in the infant room, then progressed to lead teacher, assistant director and then director. I have worked with legislative issues regarding early education in the state of Arkansas and have been on various boards and committees hoping to further the investment in early childhood education in the state. I love being part of a family’s life. I love providing another “home” for them and enrich it with the foundations of education that will follow them through their school life and beyond.
In my free time I love to read, cook and spend time with my family. I have three grandchildren that I adore and I spend as much time with them as I can.
