About Next Generation Children’s Center Preschool in Walpole
Next Generation Children’s Centers (NGCC) is committed to providing quality care for children from Infancy through School-Age. We have 10 private preschools throughout Massachusetts, and our Walpole, MA childcare center is here to serve your needs.
Our childcare center offers:
- 24 spacious classrooms with child-sized bathrooms
- A private infant wing with heated floors and a gross motor skills room
- Two indoor play spaces and a covered outdoor play area
- Three large playgrounds that appeals to a diverse range of ages
- A performing arts room for dramatic play
- A STEAM room
- A commercial kitchen. We offer breakfast, lunch, and three healthy snacks daily
Kids Café Preschool Cooking Program
Cooking Up Confidence, One Recipe at a Time
Kids Café is a hands-on cooking program where children explore new foods, build confidence, and develop essential life skills through fun, guided kitchen experiences.
Program Highlights:
- Designed for ages 3+
- Weekly sessions over a 12-week program
- Hands-on cooking activities and kid-friendly recipes
- Builds teamwork, sharing, and communication skills
- Encourages problem-solving and following directions

Our Philosophy
We believe in the development of the “Whole Child.” At NGCC Walpole’s all-day preschool, we want every child to be successful academically and to be comfortable with who they are within their community. We focus on areas of growth, including:

We believe that children learn best through hands-on activities and we offer plenty of diverse indoor and outdoor learning experiences that engage your child through play. Our early childhood center’s “Whole Child” approach helps your child develop self-esteem and a love of learning. As such, our preschool programs are developed from your child’s interests and abilities, so your child learns as they play.
Our Childcare & Preschool Programs:
- Infant Childcare (6 weeks – 15 months) – A childcare program that ensures the transition away from home is smooth and joyful experience.
- Toddler Daycare (15 months – 36 months) – As part of our Toddler Daycare program, our skilled teachers help engage young explorers with an interactive, hands-on curriculum.
- Preschool (3 – 4 years) – Preschool is an exciting stage in a child’s development. This preschool program is focused on thoroughly preparing students for Pre-Kindergarten.
- Pre-Kindergarten (4 – 5 years) – Our experienced Pre-Kindergarten teachers help lead a well-designed preschool curriculum designed to lay the foundation for success in learning.
- Kindergarten Club (4 – 5 years) – This program takes place during the last year of preschool and is available to help students feel more comfortable with their transition into Kindergarten.
- Summer Program (5 – 8 years) – Each summer we offer a safe, fun and educational summer program with an exciting new theme.

Infant Care
Our infant care program invites children starting at the age of six weeks up to 18 months. Though leaving your little one for the first time is a big step, our nurturing environment is designed to feel just like a home away from home. Choosing our program ensures your baby receives personalized attention that supports their earliest developmental milestones.
Toddler Care
Our toddler care program invites children starting at 12 months up to 3 years old. Though toddlers are full of boundless energy, our environment is designed to channel that curiosity into safe exploration. Choosing a program that balances hands-on learning with guided play is a key step in fostering your child’s emerging independence.
Preschool
Our preschool program invites children starting at 3 years up to 5 years old. Though we introduce early academic concepts, we believe that learning happens naturally through open-ended play. Choosing our preschool environment helps build the essential “I can do it” confidence that serves as a foundation for their future education.
Pre-Kindergarten
Our Pre-Kindergarten program invites children starting at 4 years up to 5 years old. Though the focus shifts to kindergarten readiness, we ensure the preparation remains engaging and stress-free. Choosing our specialized curriculum ensures your child is academically and socially prepared for a smooth transition to elementary school.

Natasha Fernandez
School Director
From a young age I have always loved working with children both babysitting and working at summer camps. In college I began working as a preschool teacher and now I am the School Director of Cadence Academy Preschool in Norwood. I love being part of a child’s first level of education and providing a safe, nurturing environment for children to develop their social and emotional skills and to build meaningful social connections and relationships. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and 8 year old son vacationing and going on adventures. I also like doing arts and crafts with my son, camping and being outdoors.
Erin McLaughlin
Assistant Director
I have been here at NGCC Walpole school since January of 2013 and previously worked at our Natick facility as a Preschool Teacher. I majored in Business Management at Bryant University and I’m Director certified through the Department of Early Education and Care. I am the proud mother of twin boys, who attend our school.
Alana Cullen
Assistant Director
Alana attended Westfield State University where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She began working here at Next Generation in 2016 and fell in love with teaching Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten. Alana oversaw these age groups as their Program Manager before being promoted to Assistant Director.
Elizabeth Villacis
Teacher of the Year
Elizabeth was selected by her fellow teachers and our management team for her never ending passion for Early Education. Liz has been an Infant/Toddler teacher here at NGCC Walpole for over 10 years, and her dedication to the children in her care is exceptional. Not only does she bring her mothering nature into the classroom, but she focuses on providing a safe, stimulating, and educational environment in which children thrive. Our school community is so lucky to have her and we are so proud to award her with this honor!
