Kind Child
Kind Child is an important part of our Ascend Curriculum and we see kindness as the cornerstone of our preschool’s culture. The goal of Kind Child is to continually improve the emotional well-being of each child in our care. We focus on the development of social-emotional skills every month and introduce character traits such as Thankfulness, a Positive Self-Image, and Friendship every two months. We want every child to feel welcome and supported at our preschool and Kind Child programming encourages both students and staff to make kindness a habit.
Our Educational Philosophy
At Next Generation Children’s Centers, we recognize that young children need much more than academic development during these precious first years of life and our Ascend Curriculum allows us to take a balanced approach to early childhood education. We want every child to be successful academically, but we also focus on social, emotional, creative, and physical development at our school.
Our approach helps your child develop self-esteem and a lifelong love of learning. We believe that children learn best through hands-on activities and we offer various indoor and outdoor learning experiences that engage your child through play. Our activities are developed from your child’s interests and abilities, so they enjoy every minute of learning.

Our Team

Sabrina McKenna
Director
Sabrina has been working with children and families in early childhood education since 2005. She is Director II certified through the Department of Early Education and Care and has taught in every age group, gaining extensive knowledge of child development, curriculum planning, and family partnership. Sabrina joined Cadence Education in 2018 and has continued to grow within the organization, taking on both teaching and leadership roles. Her journey has deepened her passion for high quality early learning and strengthened her belief in the importance of a strong, supportive school community. Her favorite part of the work is giving parents peace of mind—knowing their child is in good hands—and building a team of educators who share in that mission. Both of Sabrina’s children are graduates of Cadence Education schools, making her connection to the company’s values deeply personal. Today, she proudly leads the Hopkinton campus, supporting a team of over 50 dedicated teachers and guiding the growth and development of more than 300 children each day. Sabrina is honored to serve the Hopkinton community and is committed to fostering a warm, engaging, and inspiring environment where children, families, and educators thrive.

Jessica Villemaire
Assistant Director
Jessica has been working with children since 2006, when she first discovered her passion through babysitting and teaching dance. That early experience sparked a lifelong dedication to early childhood education, leading her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Liberal Studies from Westfield State University. She joined the Next Generation Children’s Center team in 2017 as a Program Manager and quickly became a trusted leader. Through her hard work and commitment, she earned her Director Certification and continues to bring energy, warmth, and professionalism to everything she does. Jessica’s favorite part of working with children is seeing those “wow” moments—when something finally clicks and a child’s face lights up with pride. She finds deep joy in helping children reach their goals and supporting them through each milestone. Jessica is proud to be part of the NGCC Hopkinton Community as both a leader and a parent. Her commitment to high-quality care, strong relationships with teachers, and meaningful learning experiences is a top priority.

Kelsey Lincoln

Kelsey holds a degree in Early Childhood and Psychology from Bridgewater State University and is Director II certified through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. She is deeply passionate about supporting children and teachers, fostering meaningful relationships, and celebrating every milestone—big and small —along the way. As a mom of two children who also attend NGCC, Kelsey’s connection to the school community is both personal and professional.
