About Cadence Academy Preschool in Hanover, MA
We offer high-quality childcare and early education at our Hanover preschool center. Our infant care and toddler learning programs have affordable rates, convenient hours, and a great location with easy access to Route 3. In addition, we utilize a nationally recognized curriculum and an approach to education that you will see in action in all our Cadence Academy Preschool centers.
Our developmentally appropriate classrooms at our Hanover MA preschool facility are warm and inviting. Within each classroom, you will find distinct learning centers such as blocks, sand and water, dramatic play, library, and computers.
These well-defined areas present clear activity choices to children and give them control over their time during center time. Learning materials are offered on low shelves and in labeled containers so they are easily accessible to the little ones, helping them gain confidence and a sense of independence.

Being Part of Cadence Academy Preschool Family
Every child is special. We understand that and embrace it at our Hanover preschool center. Our teachers come to work each day excited to see the children they will be teaching and caring for. They know each child’s name, interests, and strengths.
Our team approach lets us deliver an individualized program tailored specifically for your child while also providing a sense of community and belonging. Our low teacher-to-student ratios give your child the attention he or she deserves and helps foster a love of learning.
Our Hanover daycare and preschool center is part of the Cadence Academy Preschool family. With multiple locations nationwide, we are one of the nation’s leading providers of child care and early childhood education.
Our curriculum provides a strong foundation for children’s academic success and our teachers provide a warm, nurturing environment in which every child can be successful. Children retain more when they are having fun, so our programs emphasize learning through play.
We use play-based educational programs designed to help children learn while they are having fun. This allows each child to explore, experiment, and discover at his or her own pace.
Loving and Nurturing Environment For Your Little Ones
We want your child to feel comfortable and safe when they are away from you. That is why our Hanover daycare and preschool center has a home-like environment. Our classrooms have soft lighting, soothing colors, and interesting displays that capture children’s attention.
We also have a comfortable reading nook, where children can relax with a good book and a large play area that includes a variety of age-appropriate toys.
Our child care center also has a kitchen where children can learn about healthy foods and cooking, plus all over fun activities.
Infant Care Program
We understand that leaving your little one for the first time can be difficult. That is why we have a specially designed infant care program that provides a loving and nurturing environment for your child.
In our child care program, we emphasize:
- Touch – Infants need physical contact for healthy development. Our teachers provide plenty of hugs and kisses.
- Routines – Infants thrive on routine, and we create a predictable schedule for them.
- Love – We show each child love and care every day.
Toddler Care Program
Our toddler care program is designed to help your child transition from being an infant to a toddler. In this program, we emphasize:
- Independence – We help children learn to do things for themselves.
- Exploration – We provide a variety of materials and activities that allow children to explore their world.
- Cooperation – We help children develop social skills and learn to work together.
Preparing Your Preschooler for Kindergarten
At our Hanover preschool center, we believe that it is important to prepare your child for kindergarten. That is why our dynamic learning experiences at the Pre-K level emphasize literacy, math, science, social skills, and more. We provide a strong foundation for children’s academic success and our dedicated teachers provide an encouraging environment in which every child can be successful.
Parent Communication App
At our Hanover MA preschool, as with other Cadence Academy Preschool centers, we use a Parent Communication App that our teachers use daily to relay information and send pictures to family members, send newsletters, and track developmental progress for each child’s portfolio. With this application, parents and guardians are able to opt into email or text alerts, and they can receive any information, instantaneously, about their daily activities and their child’s school day.
Teachers and staff can tag daily pictures with our Developmental Domains (Social/Emotional, Physical, Artistic, Cognitive, and Language/Literacy) and are then able to communicate with the parents and guardians by adding captions or sending quick little notes.
Families LOVE this feature, and we’re utilizing it more and more each day! We are so excited to be able to communicate with our families throughout the day and to show them what their children are learning each day.
We invite you to visit our Hanover daycare and preschool center. We would love to meet you and your family.
I have been in the field of Early Childhood Education since October 2004. During my first three years in the field, I taught in a Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten classroom. I then took on the role of Program Specialist, which allowed me to begin my management training. In 2007, I became an Assistant Director and held that position for 12 years, until I moved on to my role here as the Director at Cadence Academy. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and my Director II Certification through the Department of Early Education and Care.
My favorite thing about working in this field is being able to see children grow and develop so quickly. Whether it’s an infant learning to walk or a preschooler learning to write their name, each day brings something new and exciting, which truly makes me enjoy my days at the center. I love working with such amazing and dedicated teachers that have a passion for teaching. Our team here in Hanover is fantastic!
I am a Mom to my beautiful daughter, Evelyn, who was born in March 2019. In my spare time, I love to travel with my family. At least once a year, we make a trip to Disney World! I also love spending time down our family home in Cape Cod.
I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our Cadence family in Hanover!
