About Next Generation Children’s Center, Andover
Next Generation Children’s Centers have proudly served thousands of families throughout Massachusetts since we opened our first preschool in 1993. Our Andover center was opened in 2001 and has 19 spacious classrooms, a commercial kitchen, two indoor gym spaces, a covered outdoor play area, and two large outdoor playgrounds that were all created to accommodate the varying needs of different age groups.
Our Preschool’s Programs
- Infant Daycare (6 weeks – 15 months) – We provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the littlest ones in our care.
- Toddler Daycare (15 months – 36 months) – Our nurturing teachers engage our young explorers with an engaging skill-based curriculum that channels their energy and excitement into positive learning experiences.
- Preschool (3 – 4 years) – Preschool is an exciting stage in your child’s early development and we continue working towards important developmental milestones within nine subject areas.
- Pre-Kindergarten (4 – 5 years) – Our Pre-K program continues to leverage our Ascend Curriculum, which takes a balanced approach and prepares our students emotionally, socially, and academically for future academic success.
- Kindergarten Club (4 – 5 years) – This unique kindergarten readiness program takes place during the last year of preschool and is designed to help students become more comfortable with the transition into kindergarten.

Kind Child Program
Another significant part of our curriculum is our Kind Child program. Kind Child is a year-long program for children ages two and older that helps our teachers nurture and strengthen every child’s social and emotional skills. We have found that when we focus on the emotional well-being of each child in our care, we strengthen our school as well. We are confident that Kind Child will continue to strengthen the culture of our entire preschool center by elevating every child’s feelings of happiness, improving their well-being, and enriching their friendships.
Safety & Security
We know what an enormous decision it is to leave your child in the care of others. We pledge to do everything in our power to make our preschool as healthy, safe, and secure as possible, and we designed our schools with these priorities top of mind. Our childcare center has:
- A secured entry system. Only parents and staff members with the proper code can enter our daycare facility.
- Heated floors. Our infant classrooms have heated floors.
- Full commercial kitchen. We prepare a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and three snacks daily. We use only the best quality foods and employ ServSafe® certified cooks to prepare our meals.
- A cleaning service. A professional cleaning service washes, vacuums, and disinfects our school each night so that we can continually maintain a high level of cleanliness.
- A laundry center. We have a laundry room to wash and sanitize your child’s clothes, sheets, and blankets.

Getting To Our Preschool
Cadence Academy in Andover sits along the east side of Main Street at 516 S Main St, Andover, MA 01810, right near the Route 125 junction. South Elementary School and the Andover School of Montessori are just up the road, keeping the morning school run completely local.
A mile from the interstate, our center gives drivers a fast jump onto Route 125 and I-93/I-95. That makes daily travel simple whether your commute heads north toward Lawrence or south into Tewksbury, Wilmington, and North Reading.

Shanika Moya
School Director
I have been a proud part of the Next Generation family since 2014 . With a genuine passion for nurturing growth- I have worked with all age groups from infants through adolescents. I have an Associate’s degree from Middlesex Community College in Early Childhood Education. Once I graduated – I volunteered at a Jump Start program where I received over 3 years of experience before coming to Next Generation. During my time with NGCC, I received my certifications in Infant / Toddler & Preschool, along with Director I & II Certification through the Department of Early Education and Care. Since then I have earned my Bachelor’s in Child, Family & Community studies from Merrimack College, and am currently working on my Master’s in Social Work. I spent a year in the Program Manager Role and Assistant Director role before becoming Director.
Swapna Kadam
Assistant Director
I have been a proud part of Next Generation since 2005. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in History from Bombay University. I hold my certifications in Infant / Toddler & Preschool certification and also hold a Director’s credential from the Department of Early Education and Care. Before joining NGCC- Andover, I taught 7th and 10th grades in Bombay, India and had numerous hours of volunteering at North Reading Public schools. During my time at NGCC- Andover, I spent a decade teaching in the Preschool & Pre- Kindergarten programs, and became a familiar face as the School’s Office Administrator. In the Spring of 2025, I was promoted as the Assistant Director.
Graciela Robles
Teacher of the Year
Graciela has almost a decade of experience working in the early childhood education field. She has worked with children from infants through Kindergarten since 1988. Before joining NGCC in September 2011, Graciela worked at Merrimack River Community Child Care and the Community Learning Center. She has attended Wheelock College and Urban College in Boston. Graciela is certified in all age groups , along with holds her Director certifications through the Department of Early Education and Care.
