Next Generation Children’s Centers have proudly served thousands of families throughout Massachusetts since we opened our first preschool in 1993. Our Andover center was opened in 2001 and has 19 spacious classrooms, a commercial kitchen, two indoor gym spaces, a covered outdoor play area, and two large outdoor playgrounds that were all created to accommodate the varying needs of different age groups.
Kind Child Program
We believe that children learn to be kind, giving, and thoughtful of others when they experience these traits firsthand. Kind Child is the foundation of our school’s culture and an important part of our Ascend Curriculum. We focus on the the development of social and emotional skills each month and a character trait like Responsibility, Thankfulness, and Friendship every two months. Our goal is to elevate the emotional well-being of each child in our care and strengthen friendships!
Safety & Security
We know what an enormous decision it is to leave your child in the care of others. We pledge to do everything in our power to make our preschool as healthy, safe, and secure as possible, and we designed our schools with these priorities top of mind. Our childcare center has:
- A secured entry system. Only parents and staff members with the proper code can enter our daycare facility.
- Heated floors. Our infant classrooms have heated floors.
- Full commercial kitchen. We prepare a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and three snacks daily. We use only the best quality foods and employ ServSafe® certified cooks to prepare our meals.
- A cleaning service. A professional cleaning service washes, vacuums, and disinfects our school each night so that we can continually maintain a high level of cleanliness.
- A laundry center. We have a laundry room to wash and sanitize your child’s clothes, sheets, and blankets.

Next Generation Children’s Center Andover, Massachusetts is conveniently located just off Route 125 on the east side of Main St at 516 S Main St, Andover, MA 01810. Shanika Moya
School Director
I have been a proud part of the Next Generation family since 2014 . With a genuine passion for nurturing growth- I have worked with all age groups from infants through adolescents. I have an Associate’s degree from Middlesex Community College in Early Childhood Education. Once I graduated – I volunteered at a Jump Start program where I received over 3 years of experience before coming to Next Generation. During my time with NGCC, I received my certifications in Infant / Toddler & Preschool, along with Director I & II Certification through the Department of Early Education and Care. Since then I have earned my Bachelor’s in Child, Family & Community studies from Merrimack College, and am currently working on my Master’s in Social Work. I spent a year in the Program Manager Role and Assistant Director role before becoming Director.
Swapna Kadam
Assistant Director
I have been a proud part of Next Generation since 2005. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in History from Bombay University. I hold my certifications in Infant / Toddler & Preschool certification and also hold a Director’s credential from the Department of Early Education and Care. Before joining NGCC- Andover, I taught 7th and 10th grades in Bombay, India and had numerous hours of volunteering at North Reading Public schools. During my time at NGCC- Andover, I spent a decade teaching in the Preschool & Pre- Kindergarten programs, and became a familiar face as the School’s Office Administrator. In the Spring of 2025, I was promoted as the Assistant Director.
Mariel Castillo De Molina
Teacher of the Year
Mariel has almost a decade of experience working in the early childhood education field. She is infant, toddler, and preschool certified through EEC. She has taken Child Growth and Development at Cambridge College, and then continued her education at Middlesex Community College. She is looking forward to continuing to take more college courses in this field, and expanding her knowledge in Early Childhood Education. Since joining, Mariel has successfully led many toddler classrooms.
