About Our Daycare and Preschool In Louisville, KY
Cadence Academy Preschool in Louisville, Kentucky was previously called Little Scholars Private Preschool, but we changed our name in March 2018 to reflect our ongoing commitment to providing Louisville families with quality child care and preschool programs. We remodeled our school with new flooring, fresh paint, and lots of other amenities during this transition, but it’s the proprietary programming like Kindergarten Club and Kind Child that truly makes the difference in the lives of our students.
We have a highly qualified teaching and care staff at our Louisville preschool and provide a loving and comfortable learning environment where students feel at home. We offer different daycare and preschool programs to meet the needs of every family. All of our programs are designed to provide a well-rounded preschool experience and prepare your child for kindergarten.
If you have any questions about our preschool programs in Louisville, KY, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We would be happy to answer any questions you have and give you a tour of our school.

Kindness is the foundation of our preschool’s culture, and Kind Child is one of the nine learning domains within our Ascend Curriculum. Each month, our teachers focus on developing valuable character traits like Thankfulness, Empathy, Friendship, and a Positive Self-Image. We focus on the emotional development and well-being of each child in our care so that everyone feels welcome and valued.
If you’re looking for a preschool in Louisville with a strong focus on character education and emotional intelligence, Cadence Academy Preschool is the right choice for your family.
Food For Thought
Our preschool provides a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks every day, which are included in our standard tuition. We encourage our children to try a variety of healthy foods from all the food groups through our Food For Thought Program. Our preschool menu includes items like fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grain bread, rolls, and pasta, low-sugar yogurt and cereal, and much more. We’re very picky about our menu choices. Our aim is to nurture both body and mind and pave the way for a lifetime of good food choices.
Safety & Security
The safety and security of the children in our care are always a top concern. We have 14 security cameras inside our Louisville preschool center and two more cameras on the playground. We have a secure entry system, and there is always a staff member up front to greet family and screen visitors.
Your child’s health and safety are also extremely important to us. Each of our classrooms is equipped with toys, furniture, and equipment that is appropriate for that age group, and we have air purification systems in each room too. We love outdoor learning, and there’s a covered playground with a large outdoor ship when the weather is favorable and two indoor dramatic playhouses when it isn’t.
Loving and Caring Environment for Infants and Toddlers
If you’re looking for a preschool with a loving and caring environment for your infant or toddler, Cadence Academy Preschool is a perfect choice. The classrooms at our Louisville center are designed to be age-appropriate, and we have a low teacher-to-student ratio so that each child can get the individual attention they need. We foster a nurturing and playful environment filled with educational hands-on activities that will help your little one develop a positive self-image.
Preparing Your Child for Kindergarten
The Cadence Academy Preschool curriculum is designed to prepare your child for kindergarten. We believe that a well-rounded preschool experience is important in encouraging lifelong learners, so we focus on nine learning domains: Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Arts & Crafts, Music & Movement, Cooking & Nutrition, Outdoor Play, and Character Education.
Ongoing student assessments help to ensure that children are on the right path at a pace that they are comfortable with. In this way, your child will be ready for the academic challenges of kindergarten, and they will also have the social and emotional skills they need to be successful in life.

Hi my name is Mrs. Jennie Kreutzer. I have been married 10 Years to my wonderful husband Darryl. I have two step sons Lee and Jacob. We have a beautiful granddaughter LaDonna. I have been around children all my life. I have been in childcare for 18 years. In 1984 I started working in a three year old classroom and had 12 children in my class. They sure kept me busy! I worked with that age for about 4 years. Then I started working in the office and also helping our in the infant room and loved it. After working at that center for several years they ended up closing the center so I changed my career. I started working at Sears as an office Supervisor and stayed there for 10 years. I really missed working with children, so I decided I wanted to come back to childcare. I started working here in 2008 working in the infant room and absolutely love that age. I love each and every one of them like my own.
