Welcome to Sunbrook Academy at Luella in McDonough, Georgia. We are located just South of Atlanta in McDonough at 235 Walker Drive.

Selecting the right daycare or preschool can be one of the most important decisions you can make as a parent or caregiver. At Sunbrook Academy, we hope to make that decision a little easier.

Sunbrook Academy at Luella is an early childhood education academy for children ages six weeks to 12 years old. Since 2007, we have been offering a supportive, nurturing learning environment that provides children with a safe and fun learning experience.

Our various early childhood educational programs offer you peace of mind by providing an exceptional education and fun-filled day to children from caring professionals in a warm, nurturing environment as comfortable as home.

Our Preschool, Childcare & School-Age Programs

As part of the Cadence Education Family of Schools, Sunbrook Academy at Luella features a carefully developed curriculum designed to provide each student with the necessary skills and confidence for the next stage in their life.

Offering the Foundations™ curriculum, we raise the bar for early learning, challenging our students while encouraging them to express themselves creatively through the arts. Our preschool also features a media center and computer lab for our older preschoolers.

Preschool & Childcare Programs include:

• Infant Childcare (6 weeks to 1 year) – A program designed to maintain the strong bonds, warmth and security your child enjoys at home with you.
• Junior Toddlers (12 – 24 months) – Our toddler teachers strive to guide and encourage your child’s sense of discovery and learning.
• Senior Toddlers (24 – 36 months) – With a low teacher-to-student ratio, this program allows the necessary time for positive interaction between teacher and child.
• PreK 3 (3 to 4 years) – A pre-kindergarten program designed to challenge each student to reach ambitious milestones as they prepare to enter Kindergarten.
• Private PreK 4 (4 to 5 years) – Considered the most important program offered at our school, this program helps prepare students for the transition to Kindergarten.
• Georgia PreK 4 (4 to 5 years) – A lottery funded education program aimed at preparing students for Kindergarten.
• Kindergarten Club (4 to 5 years) – Kindergarten Club is a fun program that helps our Pre-K students fine-tune the skills needed for kindergarten.
• School-Age Program (PreK – 12 years) – Students are picked up from local schools to enjoy an afternoon of fun, learning and growth.
• Summer Camp Programs (ages 6 to 12) – We’ll be taking our campers on a virtual tour of top attractions, events, and landmarks across the nation at our American Road Trip Summer Camp.

Healthy Menu Options

At Sunbrook Academy at Luella, we make every effort to teach your children the importance of nutrition and wellness.

Our Healthy Child Nutrition Program was designed by experienced chefs to exceed all FDA standards for portioning, and all National Building Healthy Habit Standards Grants to ensure that every child not only receives a healthy meal but a tasty one as well.

Tuition to Sunbrook Academy includes breakfast, lunch, and healthy snacks.

Safety & Security

Our preschool learning center has several measures in place to ensure a safe, secure learning environment.

We have a keypad door entry system, as well as a state-of-the-art thumbprint identification system to safeguard the process of checking your children in and out. We also have a closed-circuit camera recording system that allows us to monitor what is going on in our preschool classes throughout the day.
