School Director
I started in 2013 in the infant room, I wanted to be with my daughter who was 2 at the time. So we both started the same day. I stayed in the infant room as lead teacher until 2020 and my daughter continued all the way through the private Kindergarten program at my school. I also had a son (2017) who also stayed at my school through the private kindergarten program as well. Then I moved into the assistant director position after COVID until February of this year when I went into the Interim Director position at my school, and now the Director position!
I like to travel in my free time. My family enjoys going camping in our camper or we go on vacation on cruise ships. We just love being outside, either swimming in the pool or riding on the boat.

I started as a Toddler Teacher in 2001, and taught the toddler age group for 11 years in Pennsylvania, and 7 years here in Georgia. I then taught Private Kindergarten for 3 years here at Cadence, before moving to the Administrative Assistant position. What I like about early childhood education is the ages and stages, particularly language development. I love that we in the early childhood education field set the basis for all future learning.
In my free time, I am always reading! I also love spending time with my husband, David, and my nine cats!

Hi, my name is Diamond and I am the lead Threes/PreK Prep teacher here at Cadence Academy Old Peachtree. I have been working in child care for 11 years overall, with all ages, but I love this age group particularly because I enjoy assembling portfolios that showcase my students’ growth and development. I am from Buford, GA, and love spending time at the beach, shopping, and decorating.
