About Cadence Academy Preschool, Johns Creek
Cadence Academy Preschool has proudly served thousands of families at our preschool center in Johns Creek, Georgia since we opened our doors in 1995. Our childcare and preschool programs provide infants, toddlers, and preschool children a reliable foundation for future academic and professional success.
Cadence Academy Preschool students consistently earn top marks on the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills (ITBS) and are regularly admitted into some of Atlanta’s most prestigious private elementary schools. Our students often test several grade levels ahead in Subject Areas such as Reading, Language Arts, and Science, but we balance academics with specialty instruction in Art, Music, Spanish & Chinese Language, and Physical Education so that our students develop a lifelong love of learning that will serve them for years to come.
Our Preschool Programs
- Infant Care (ages 6 weeks to 1 year)
- One Year Old Toddlers (ages 1 to 2)
- Two Year Old Toddlers (ages 2 to 3)
- Preppies (ages 3 to 5)
- Georgia PreK (4 to 5 years) – A lottery funded education program aimed at preparing students for Kindergarten.
- Primary (ages 5 to 6)
- Specials (ages 6 weeks to 12 years)
- School-Age Program (ages 5 to 12)
- Summer Camp (ages 5 to 12)
Loving to Learn
When you walk through the halls of our preschool, you’ll see our students “Loving to Learn.” This simple concept is the cornerstone of every facet of learning that takes place at Cadence Academy Preschool and is the primary reason why our students are so successful when they move on to elementary, high school, and college. Cadence Academy Preschool parents often arrive for pick up and leave without their child because they want to stay a little longer and continue participating in our fun learning activities. There is so much going on and our teachers are so engaging and loving that students don’t want to miss out on a thing, even late in the day!
Kind Child Program
Another significant part of our curriculum is our Kind Child program. Kind Child is a year-long program for children ages two and older that helps our teachers nurture and strengthen every child’s social and emotional skills. We have found that when we focus on the emotional well-being of each child in our care, we strengthen our school as well. We are confident that Kind Child will continue to strengthen the culture of our entire preschool center by elevating every child’s feelings of happiness, improving their well-being, and enriching their friendships.
Cadence KickStart™ Soccer
Big Fun. Little Players. Growing Confidence.
Cadence KickStart™ Soccer is a high-energy enrichment program designed to build confidence, coordination, and teamwork through fun, age-appropriate soccer play. Led by the teachers your child already knows and trusts, it’s seamlessly built into the school day.
Program Highlights:
Designed for ages 3–5
12-week program (once per week)
40–50 minute sessions
Builds balance, coordination, and motor skills
Encourages listening, teamwork, and confidence
Integrated into your child’s daily schedule

Getting To Our Preschool
Our Johns Creek center is located at 9670 Ventana Way, Johns Creek, GA 30022, accessed via Medlock Crossing Pkwy just southwest of Medlock Bridge Rd (SR 141) and State Bridge Rd (SR 120). We are conveniently close to Medlock Bridge Elementary, Findley Oaks Elementary, and the Medlock Crossing shopping center, making morning drop-offs, school transitions, and daily errands quick and seamless for neighborhood families.
Positioned right at the crossroads of GA-141 and GA-120, our center offers an easy daily commute for working parents. Direct routes connect smoothly to Alpharetta, Peachtree Corners, Duluth, and GA-400, keeping your everyday travel fast and convenient.

With over 20 years of dedicated experience working with children, I have a profound understanding of childhood development and education. For the past five years, I have proudly served as Director at Cadence Academy Preschool in Johns Creek, where my leadership has fostered a nurturing and enriching environment for all students. I am a proud parent of three children who have attended Cadence, I am also a devoted wife to Ron Carl and a loving owner to three fur babies. With my free time I enjoy practicing yoga and playing tennis!
