Before I even begin, I can honestly say that words will never fully capture what Cadence Academy (formerly Giant Steps) has meant to our family. From the moment we walked through the doors, we weren't treated like clients—we were treated like family. The directors have the kindest hearts, the warmest smiles, and a genuine love for every child and parent who enters the building. Their care extends far beyond the walls of the daycare. When my husband underwent arm surgery, Miss Katelyn told us to let her know if there was anything she could do to help. It wasn't one of those polite comments people make and never intend to follow through on. She truly meant it. Without hesitation, she offered to watch our children if we needed help. That level of compassion is rare, and it speaks volumes about the type of person she is. Every morning she greets children with a smile that lights up the room and hugs them as if they were her own. She has a gift for making every child feel special, valued, and deeply loved. The directors don't just run a school—they build a community where everyone feels like they belong. And then there are the teachers. Teaching young children is one of the most demanding and often underappreciated jobs there is, yet every single teacher at Cadence shows up each day with patience, enthusiasm, and genuine love for the children in their care. They spend countless hours teaching, comforting, encouraging, changing diapers, cleaning messes, and somehow still greet parents at pickup with a smile. Their dedication never goes unnoticed. What has always impressed me most is how much they truly know and care about each child. They take the time to share daily updates, celebrate milestones, and build relationships not only with the children but with the parents as well. The personalized projects they create are treasures our family will keep forever. You can feel the love and effort behind everything they do. Recently, my son graduated from Cadence. It was an emotional milestone for our family, and one made even more special because of the thoughtfulness of Miss Katelyn and the entire staff. My son typically does not attend on Fridays, but they went out of their way to ensure he could participate in prom and all the graduation festivities. They didn't stop there—they made sure his little sister could be part of the fun too! Watching my son walk across that stage was one of those moments you wish you could freeze forever. The prom, the graduation, the celebrations—those are memories our family will cherish for the rest of our lives. Cadence didn't just educate our son; they helped shape his childhood and gave us moments we will hold in our hearts forever. As parents, we entrust our children to very few people. Cadence Academy gave us the incredible gift of peace of mind. Every day, we knew our children were safe, loved, encouraged, and cared for by people who genuinely wanted the very best for them. I am incredibly grateful for the care, support, and love our family has received over the years. My child has been at this school since a baby. Watching him grow from an infant into a confident, curious, and kind young boy has been an incredible journey, and we feel so fortunate to have shared it with this wonderful school community. Our daughter recently graduated from the Pre-K program after spending the last two years here, and we are so grateful for the experience she had. From the teachers and caregivers to the directors and support staff, everyone truly cares about the children and works hard to make this a special place. The amount of thought and effort that goes into everything is amazing. The classrooms are always beautifully decorated, the school is incredibly clean, and there are constantly fun activities, crafts, themed events, and learning opportunities for the kids to enjoy. What we appreciated most was the balance between learning, play, and social development. Our daughter learned so much during her time here, but she also built friendships, gained confidence, and genuinely looked forward to going to school every day. The special events throughout the year are always wonderful, and the graduation ceremony was absolutely beautiful. You could see how much time, care, and attention went into making it meaningful for the children and their families. Choosing a preschool is a big decision, and looking back, we couldn't have made a better choice. We are so thankful for the love, care, and education our daughter received over the past two years.
