My son has been going to PCA Union Hills since he was 3 months old and I absolutely adore and trust this school and his teachers. Being a first time mom I was a nervous wreck letting my small baby be taken care of by anyone except me and his dad, but PCA has surpassed our expectations. Very quickly after starting, my infant son began smiling at his teacher, Ms. Angel, and showing excitement to see her at drop off each morning which showed me how comfortable he felt and how much he trusted her. That was so much relief to this first time mama. Ms. Angel, Ms. Janice, Ms. Victoria, and Ms. Willow have shown so much love, support, encouragement, and assistance to not only my son but myself and my husband as his parents as well. Communication from all of them is also never an issue and I never have to feel worried about my son in their care. The director, Mrs. Candace, and assistant director, Mrs. Caitlin, always ensure we feel welcomed each morning and that our needs/concerns are met. They are also very personable and easy to talk to. On the few occasions that my son has been sick they have shown compassion and concern while also being sure to still do their due diligence and make sure his classroom is clean and healthy and all the other infant parents are notified when necessary. This is a huge plus for a mom of a small baby as there’s always the worry of germs and communicable illnesses. I’m so thankful and happy we found PCA and can genuinely say I feel my son will continue to thrive there as he progresses through each new classroom.

My child moved from another PCA to this location. All I can say is wow!!! The culture and feel you get from the staff at Union Hills is outstanding. You walk in and feel this light, airy good vibe. The teachers are engaged and keep you in the loop all the time. Not only do the regular classroom teachers make you feel like your kiddo is their only student, you get that same care and kindness from the teachers at the end of the day when classrooms combine. Everyone keeps us informed- even the little things. I am amazed at the details they share with me as a parent. I always walk away knowing my child is safe and in a great learning environment. We went from my child stressing out and crying on the way to school, to a child who openly tells me about her day in a happy manner. She learns things that we can replicate at home too! "You get what you get, and we don't throw a fit!" (This is a good thing. She genuinely has learned to show appreciation. It has come in handy several times when we try to show how to best accept gifts from others and to not be too picky.) She has grown with her compassion, empathy, and desire to learn new things. She has even learned some Spanish! I especially love K-Club: the Fridays club geared to prep my child for Kindergarden. She gets fun homework to do with the family on the weekends (nothing too tough at all) so that we can bond over learning. It really has gotten her excited for the next step on her education journey! Great team and I am thankful everyday to have them in my child's corner.
