Our Signature Programs & Events

Baby Signs®

Our Baby Signs® program helps children develop language and cognitive skills. Studies show that babies who sign develop speech sooner and have larger vocabularies when they do start talking. Signs for words such as please, thank you, more, and finished are reinforced during lunchtime and daily communication.

We believe that children learn to be kind, treat others well, and are respectful, giving, and thoughtful when they experience these traits firsthand. Kind Child is a culture in our entire school, not just a curriculum that we teach. We firmly believe that kindness is contagious, and it begins with a well-trained staff who exemplifies kindness and positive traits.

Children in their last year of preschool are prepared for kindergarten with this additional readiness program that focuses on social skills and academics. Homework is given on Fridays offering families activities to complete over the weekend. Children also get a special t-shirt and name badge. K-Club runs January to September.

Our before & after school program is offered for children Kindergarten to twelve years old on school days. We also offer full-day programs for all out of school days and camps during school breaks. Snacks and teacher-assisted homework/quiet time is provided, as well as crafts and time on our playground.

Cadence Education Signature Events

Science Fair

Developing curiosity, creativity, and a love of science is an important part of a child’s early educational journey. Our schools hold a Science Fair every January so the students can show off their fun projects, experiments, and activities.

Read Across America Day

Every March, our schools celebrate Read Across America Day with special celebrations. Research shows that reading greatly improves vocabulary, spelling, and even memory. That’s why we make sure reading is a huge part of what we do at Cadence schools.

Teacher Appreciation Week

In May, we honor our teachers and all the amazing work they do by celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week.

Grandfriends Day

In September, right around Grandparents Day, our schools celebrate Grandfriends in their communities with special events.

Honoring Community Heroes

In November, our schools across the country hold Honoring Community Heroes events to honor our Veterans as well as other local heroes in their communities. Social emotional learning is an important part of our curriculum and our signature events throughout the year help the children learn more about things like gratitude and thankfulness. The Kind Child Character Traits that we focus on in November and December are Being Thankful and Sharing with Others, so this event fits very well with those lessons.

Our Promise

We provide parents with peace of mind by giving children an exceptional education every fun-filled day in a place as nurturing as home.
