Our toddler care program invites children starting at 12 months up to 3 years old. Though toddlers are full of boundless energy, our environment is designed to channel that curiosity into safe exploration. What Your Toddler’s Day Looks Like
Story Time Builds A Love of Literacy: Daily reading builds vocabulary, listening skills, and imagination. Books are also used as springboards for art, math, and science activities.
Movement & Fitness: Structured and unstructured physical activity every day, indoors and out, builds motor skills and healthy habits.
Creative Expression: Art, music, imaginative play, and open-ended materials give children unique ways to express themselves and develop creativity.
Potty Training Support: We meet each child where they are. Our caregivers provide a calm, consistent, pressure-free environment to support this milestone at your child’s own pace.
Kind Child Culture™ Moments: Throughout the day, teachers actively coach empathy, patience, and cooperation — turning everyday interactions into character-building opportunities.
Baby Signs®: Toddlers continue developing communication through sign language as their verbal skills grow, reducing frustration and building confidence.
Self-Help Skills: Hand washing, tidying up, making choices — small acts of independence that build the confidence and capability your child needs for preschool and beyond.
Spanish: The first three years are the optimal window for language acquisition. Spanish vocabulary, songs, and stories are woven into daily routines and sent home for family practice.
Q&A Time: Teachers invite questions and model how to explore answers — building language, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
How We Support Your Toddler’s Development
In our toddler program, every activity — from storytime to outdoor play — is intentionally designed to support three areas of development that matter most at this age.
Thinking & Learning (Cognitive)
Toddlers are natural scientists: they test, observe, and repeat. Our classrooms are designed to fuel that instinct — with low, open shelves stocked with accessible toys and materials, colorful labeled bins that teach organization and early literacy, and teachers who answer “Why?” with patience and curiosity rather than redirection.
Key activities: Q&A time that encourages questions, daily reading and story time, Spanish vocabulary woven into songs and games, counting and early math through play, and hands-on art and science exploration.
Feelings & Friendships (Socio-Emotional)
Learning to name emotions, share space, and navigate relationships is hard work at any age — and toddlers are doing it for the first time. Our Kind Child Culture™ gives teachers a consistent framework for guiding children through these moments with empathy, not just correction.
Responsive caregivers model and reinforce emotional vocabulary, help children practice turn-taking and cooperation, and create a classroom culture where every child feels seen and safe.
Moving & Growing (Physical)
Toddlers’ bodies are working overtime. Gross motor skills — running, jumping, climbing — are developing rapidly, and so are fine motor skills like grasping, stacking, and drawing. Our indoor and outdoor environments give children the safe, supervised space they need to practice all of it.
We also incorporate age-appropriate fitness activities and healthy movement habits that lay the foundation for a lifetime of physical wellbeing.
