Maggie is the Vice President of Education at Cadence Education. She holds a B.A. in History from Saint Mary’s College. She holds an M.A.T. and Ed.D. in Reading and Language from National Louis University. She is also a certified Reading Specialist. With more than 25 years of experience in education, she specializes in literacy, focusing on the developmental trajectory of reading. She is passionate about creating environments that empower educators to help support the academic and social emotional development of all children. As part of Cadence Education’s expert team, she shares practical classroom strategies to help teachers provide effective, engaging, and developmentally appropriate instruction and experiences for the children in our schools.
Shelly has over 35 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and holds an Associate of Arts Degree from Brigham Young University- Idaho. In addition to the study of Early Childhood Education and Family Advocacy, Shelly has experience and education in Child Nutrition, supporting the Child and Adult Care Food Program and Nutrition Education. Shelly has been with Cadence Education for over 12 years and in several key roles. Currently, she serves as the Senior Director of Classroom Experience, focusing on the support of school leadership and classroom educators in offering exceptional education in the classroom. She is passionate about The Kind Child Culture at Cadence education and curriculum support, such as helping children build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Shelly has served as an educator, school leader, and multi-school leader and is passionate about our Cadence Promise to bring peace of mind to parents while providing exceptional education experiences in the classroom.
Dr. Ashley Morris is Executive Director of the Montessori Teacher Education Institute. She holds degrees from William and Mary (B.S. in neuroscience) and Kennesaw State University (M.Ed., Ed.S., Ed.D. in early childhood education), plus AMS and PAMS credentials. Ashley supports Cadence Montessori teachers, directors, and leaders in implementing quality Montessori curriculum in the schools. Previously, she was a primary teacher and curriculum director at the Suzuki School in Atlanta.
Paula Hermano is a strategic and reflective education leader with over 20 years of experience designing high-impact programs for children, educators, and families. She currently serves as Director of Programs for the Montessori Teacher Education Institute of Atlanta and The Montessori Mastermind, leading curriculum innovation, faculty development, and coordinating strategic accreditation efforts that uphold program integrity through MACTE accreditation and AMS affiliation. Paula holds a Master’s in Education from Xavier University and a globally recognized AMS Infant-Toddler Montessori credential. As a Certified Growing Brain Trainer with an Design certificate from the University of Georgia, she brings deep expertise in content creation, systems thinking, and adult learning design. Paula is a national presenter at The Montessori Event and other conferences, known for translating research into engaging, practical learning experiences that empower both educators and families.
