Discovery Days offers a childcare program that focuses on the children and their individual needs. We follow the Wisconsin Model for Early Learning Standards which fosters social and academic learning. We have been providing quality early childhood education and care to families since 2000. We believe that a positive early childhood experience is crucial to a child’s development. Our programs are designed to help children learn at their own pace. Group activities are designed with the developmental needs of each age group in mind.
A good deal of time is allotted for children to explore the various interest centers in their classroom. Providing a program that fosters early educational learning, positive social interaction and working to achieve age appropriate milestones helps prepare our children for their future. We provide a nurturing and socially stimulating environment for children according to their age and individuality. We believe childhood is the beginning of many life adventures, and we provide the care that makes the difference.
At Discovery Days we understand that children learn in a variety of ways. As much as they can learn within our walls, they’ll learn an equal amount through their personal experience outside of our walls, in the community.
Thanks to the flexibility of our Ascend Curriculum, we take an individualized approach to early childhood education and encourage every child to progress towards age-appropriate goals at their natural pace. New skills are introduced sequentially in 9 different learning domains each month and activities are modified to fit the interests and current skill level of each child. This skill-based approach to early education ensures that every child feels engaged, supported, and challenged and makes learning fun!
Another significant part of our curriculum is our Kind Child program. Kind Child is a year-long program for children ages two and older that helps our teachers nurture and strengthen every child’s social and emotional skills. We have found that when we focus on the emotional well-being of each child in our care, we strengthen our school as well. We are confident that Kind Child will continue to strengthen the culture of our entire preschool center by elevating every child’s feelings of happiness, improving their well-being, and enriching their friendships.
Cadence KickStart™ Soccer is a high-energy enrichment program designed to build confidence, coordination, and teamwork through fun, age-appropriate soccer play. Led by the teachers your child already knows and trusts, it’s seamlessly built into the school day.

I’ve been Director at Discovery Days Wind Lake since 2011. Prior to being director, I have had experience working as a teacher, an assistant teacher as well as other industries such as banking and hospitality. I started in the Early Childhood field in 2004 until I was given an opportunity as Director for Discovery Days in 2011. I am currently a board director for Wisconsin Child Care Administrators Association, Registry trainer and DPI licensed. I enjoy teaching and mentoring other teachers so that we can provide exceptional education. I am married and have three wonderful daughters. In my free time, I enjoy going on walks and traveling up north. Early Childhood Education has always been my passion and I look forward to providing exceptional care and education to our youngest learners.
My name is Ms. Brandi. I have been Assistant Director for Discovery Days Wind Lake since May 2023. I started at Discovery Days Wind Lake in 2012 and have spent most of my time working with infants and toddlers. I’ve been in the childcare field since 2009. I earned my bachelor’s degree from UW-Whitewater in Early Childhood Education. I am also have obtained my Administrators Credential in 2024.
My family consists of myself, boyfriend, and our 3 kids (2 daughters and one son), and our cats. During my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, shopping, and going to concerts. I am so excited to provide your family with an exceptional early learning education.
