Even the youngest children in the infants program can benefit from the Ascend Curriculum.

We open our doors and encourage an acceptance of diversity, teaching the children how to socialize in a small group setting. We have an open door for our families to visit at any time. We offer a variety of optional, extra-curricular activities and classes to meet the needs of many families.

Our Team

Michele Autorino
School Director
Michele’s educational background is in Business Administration and Early Childhood Development from Daytona State College. My passion for Early Childhood stems from the joy of witnessing young children grow and thrive during their most formative years. I began my journey in the field 25 years ago as an assistant teacher and through continued education and a commitment to positive guidance, I’ve grown into my role as a School Director.
I moved from Florida in November of 2024 to be closer to my grandchildren. I spend most of my free time with them. I am deeply dedicated to the Early Childhood profession and take great pride in providing a nurturing, safe and educational environment where families can feel confident leaving their children.

Karema Dortch - Campbell
Assistant Director
I studied Foundations of Education and Business at Waukesha County Technical College and began my career in Early Childhood Education in 1998. Starting as a teacher and growing into the role of Assistant Director, I’ve always been passionate about creating a positive and enriching environment for children to thrive in.
As a loving and dedicated person, I’ll go above and beyond to make Cadence a wonderful place for both children and families. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, shopping, and doing crafts.

Ms. Libby
Teacher of the Year
Libby earned her Infant/Toddler Credential From UW-Platteville and have been working in Early Childhood Education since 2020. I initially began with Infants and later took a brief break to pursue work as a CAN, however, I quickly realized how much I missed the EC environment and returned as an older PreK 2 teacher-now my favorite age to work with.
I love watching children learn, grow and explore the world around them. Being a part of these early years is incredibly meaningful because it lays the foundation for everything that comes after. I believe that every interaction and experience matters, and I take great pride in creating a nurturing environment for the children in my care.
IN my free time, I enjoy camping, and hiking with my family, reading, and building Lego sets with my kids. I want families and coworkers to know that I treat every child with the same love and respect I would want for my own children. I truly care about my impact on each child’s journey and the classroom.
