About Cadence Academy Preschool in Olympia, Washington

Welcome to Cadence Academy Preschool in Olympia, Washington. We are conveniently located at the corner of Boulevard and Yelm Highway, shortly after the roundabout at 2222 Yelm Highway SE in Olympia, Washington. A member of the Cadence Education Family of Schools, this is the second of two locations in Yelm, Washington, serving the Lacey and Yelm Highway regions.

We tailor our small, cozy, child care center for children ages six weeks through four-years-old. Our daycare center is ideal for working families because we can provide lots of specialized, one-on-one attention to the children in our care, and our caregivers love to do it!

Our esteemed, early childhood educators are passionate about their jobs and always make your children feel welcomed and loved. Our staff’s years of experience speaks to their dedication. Each child gets to know every teacher because we are a tight-knit center, and we like to operate like one big, happy family. This approach gives young children a strong sense of comfort and security. So even though we are a “small” early childhood education center, we are “big” on love and learning!

Our Philosophy

Cadence Academy Preschool teachers bring so much light to babies’ first years because we emphasize individualized attention with every child, making your little one feel cherished and loved while engaging in play-based education. This nurturing context allows learning to grow and creates a strong foundation for life.

What Makes Our Child Care Facility Unique

We provide a unique home-like learning environment at every step of your child’s learning. Our caring staff is dedicated, and their longevity is unique;the majority of our teachers have worked for us anywhere from the last five to 12 years.

Our child care center has two large playgrounds with covered and uncovered areas, which are private and safely located away from the street. Each play ground has age-appropriate equipment, and all children have the pleasure of exploring the outdoors. The building is secure from the outside, so you know your kids are always safe.

Our preschool’s kitchen is a small, home-style kitchen, where our cooks create healthy and delicious meals that are age-appropriate and follow USDA Menu standards.

Finally, our customized curriculum targets age-specific development for each group. Some of the programs our families say they love the most include our Kind Child Program, Kindergarten Club, and Bob’s Books Learning Program.
