Cadence Academy South Jordan Preschool
Cadence Academy Preschool (formerly Skool Days Child Care Center) is a licensed, full-service, premium early childhood education center in South Jordan. We focus on the success and individual nurturing of each child.
We are proud to lead the way in preparing children for kindergarten. Through our specialized curriculum and dedicated teachers, we strive to ensure that your child is not just ready for kindergarten, but ready to excel. In 2024, 100% of the Pre-K children assessed in our school demonstrated Readiness or Advanced Readiness for Kindergarten!
We build confidence and independence through individualized instruction and by progressively introducing learning concepts. Our children have the opportunity to experience success through small wins which builds confidence and instills a love of learning. Preschool in South Jordan, UT Facilities
We are conveniently located near Riverton High School and Riverton Elementary School for easy multi-child pick-up/drop-off. We strive to make the hand-off as organized as possible and create a positive environment for each child. Your little ones will look forward to our enclosed play area and learning something new every day.
The South Jordan facilities are well-maintained and clean. All programs include meals, arts & crafts, preschool materials, science projects, cooking events, etc. Our curriculum is selected and planned based upon age-appropriateness and development. Each classroom curriculum will challenge even the brightest child!
Our staff members are successful, well-trained, and educated individuals. Each teacher at our daycare in South Jordan must complete our orientation and training process to become qualified to work and teach at our school. Each staff member is required to further their training annually by completing a minimum of 20 additional hours of specialized education.

I have been with Cadence Academy for almost three years now, however, my family has been here longer. I have three incredible children, and they have been with Cadence for over 4 years. I have watched this center grow into something big and beautiful as a parent, to a teacher, and a member of administration. I have worked with children for over 10 years and couldn’t be happier to put that experience into Cadence. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my spouse and children. We love to soak up time together any way we can. We love staying in, having movie nights, playing in the yard, cooking together, and taking spontaneous trips. Our team is full of energy and love for their classrooms and all their students within. The South Jordan center is truly something special to experience. I am incredibly proud of our school and excited to share it with all those who enter!
Veronica Edmondson
Assistant Director
I am Veronica Edmondson and newer to Cadence Academy. I have over a decade of experience working with youth; between working in schools, after school programs, along with other childcare programs. I have always worked with kids and find so much joy watching them grow. I have a Bachelors in Human Services with an emphasis on Child and Family services, as well as a minor in Sociology. I am married to my wonderful husband and share a beautiful daughter. For hobbies when I’m not at work, I love reading, camping, snowboarding, and scuba diving. I am certified Advanced Open Water to 120m. My husband and I love traveling and we enjoy bringing our daughter along and showing her the world. I am excited to meet and talk with you all!
