We proudly participate in Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA), a program created by the Texas Legislature to help families access educational programs that best meet their child’s needs.
In 2025, the Texas Legislature passed Senate Bill 2 and provided $1 billion in funding to create the Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) program and give families greater flexibility in choosing high-quality early childhood education options.
The TEFA program, administered by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, is expected to be the largest day-one school choice initiative in the nation.
Important Note from TEFA: High demand might be causing applications to be put in a queue. Texas families: TEFA applications are not first-come, first-served. You have until March 17 to apply, and timing won’t affect priority.
