About Cadence Academy Preschool in Stone Gate

Welcome to Cadence Academy Preschool, Cypress! Our private preschool is just south of Highway 290 in the community of Stone Gate. We offer families in Cypress and Houston nurturing daycare services for infants and toddlers and engaging preschool programs that prepare young children socially, emotionally, and academically for success in kindergarten.

Our Approach to Early Education

Ascend Curriculum Logo Our teachers create personalized learning experiences for each child in our care thanks to the flexibility built into our Ascend Curriculum. We have found that the best way to support the development of academic skill is to give children an appropriate level of control over their own learning process.

We offer our students a variety of experimental and playful activities and encourage them to select the activities they would like to participate in. These activities allow us to progressively introduce new skills in nine subjects every month and our children reach important milestones in every program.

School-to-Home Connection

We believe that children thrive when there is a strong partnership between preschool and home. We have an open-door policy and we encourage our families to visit their children at any time. We keep our parents involved through day-to-day feedback, regular parent conferences, and events like book fairs, dances, and our annual Trike-A-Thon, which raises funds to support St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Need care for your elementary student? Cadence Academy Preschool, Cypress offers Before & After School and full day programs for school breaks and summer camp for ages 5-12.

We provide transportation to and from Birkes Elementary School in Houston and Postma Elementary School, Woodard Elementary School, and Lamkin Elementary School in Cypress, TX. Please contact us to confirm current availability.

My son has been going to Cadence since he was about 5 months old and he will be 2 soon. The school is great! They communicate with you via an easy to use app. They have easy to access cameras so I can watch my child and check in on him throughout the day. I love the director and almost all of the staff there! I'd absolutely recommend this daycare to anyone looking for quality childcare.

We have been at Cadence Academy for about a month and we are loving our experience so far. My son (2.5yo) is autistic who struggles with socializing and communication, that is always seeking stimulation so we wanted to find an inclusive developmental school where he could be with his peers but also learn. After talking with Ms. Audrey I felt confident that Cadence would be the right school for him. We were assigned to Ms Cara’s class, and she is so kind, patient, and always has a positive attitude! My son doesn’t normally adjust to new adults easily, but with Ms Cara he is so comfortable and loving towards her! In just a month alone, my son is more social, open to being around kids his age, and adults. He’s counting on his fingers and talking more. I’m updated throughout the day, and get pictures of what he’s doing in class, which as a first time mom , putting her son in school for the first time, is a big deal lol Preschool isn’t always an option for kids with ASD but for my son I know we made the best choice!
