About Cadence Academy Preschool in Cypress, TX
Cadence Academy Preschool is both a faith-based private preschool and a before & after school program that provides an excellent educational childcare experience for families in Cypress. Our classrooms and 5,000 square foot indoor gymnasium encourage physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual growth for all our students infants thru 12 years of age. We’re licensed by the state of Texas and we meet or exceed all state requirements.
Our school is a part of the Cadence Education Family of Schools. We were previously known as Champions Academy of Cypress, but we changed our name to Cadence Academy Preschool in September 2019 as part of our school’s ongoing commitment to providing our children the very best preschool programs.

We Proudly Accept Texas Education Freedom Accounts! 
In 2025, the Texas Legislature passed Senate Bill 2 and provided $1 billion in funding to create the Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) program and give parents greater freedom and flexibility in choosing the best educational environment for their children.
The TEFA program, administered by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, is expected to be the largest day-one school choice initiative in the nation.
Important Note from TEFA: High demand might be causing applications to be put in a queue. Texas families: TEFA applications are not first-come, first-served. You have until March 17 to apply, and timing won’t affect priority.

Cadence KickStart™ Soccer is a high-energy enrichment program designed to build confidence, coordination, and teamwork through fun, age-appropriate soccer play. Led by the teachers your child already knows and trusts, it’s seamlessly built into the school day.
Program Highlights:
- Designed for ages 3–5
- 12-week program (once per week)
- 40–50 minute sessions
- Builds balance, coordination, and motor skills
- Encourages listening, teamwork, and confidence
- No prior soccer experience needed

Amy Ayling
School Director
Born and raised in New York, I’ve proudly called the Houston area home since 2013. I’m also a proud mom of twins—a spirited boy and girl who keep life exciting and joyful!
My journey in early childhood education began in 2000, and it’s been my passion ever since. In 2015, I joined the Cadence Education family, where I’ve had the incredible opportunity to grow and lead as Preschool Director. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, and my approach is rooted in the belief that young children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences. I’m a strong advocate for play-based and process-focused learning—where the journey is just as important as the outcome.
While I’ve always loved teaching, becoming a preschool director has felt like my true calling. Guiding children, supporting families, and leading dedicated educators is not just my job—it’s my purpose. I’m honored to help create a nurturing, inspiring environment where every child can thrive.
Brittney Stevenson
Office Administrator
Brittney Stevenson serves as the Administrative Assistant at Cadence Academy Preschool, bringing over 16 years of experience in Montessori preschool education. Her background has given her a strong foundation in early childhood development and a deep appreciation for the importance of creating nurturing, supportive environments where young learners can thrive. Brittney is dedicated to ensuring that every family, student, and staff member feels welcomed and supported each day.
What Brittney values most about her work is the lasting impact that early childhood experiences can have on a child’s life. Being present during those foundational years and helping to create meaningful, positive moments is what drives her commitment to this field. Outside of work, Brittney enjoys journaling, walking local trails, and staying active as a proud sports mom. She is grateful to be part of a team that is wholeheartedly dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and families.
Ms. Iveth
Teacher of the Year
Ms. Iveth serves as the Nursery 1 teacher and has been recognized as Teacher of the Year for her exceptional dedication and impact. She has worked with the Nursery 1 program for several years, where she has built a nurturing, engaging, and well-structured classroom environment for the school’s youngest learners.
Ms. Iveth is known for running an outstanding program that supports each child’s individual development while creating a strong sense of security and belonging. Her commitment to excellence, consistency, and care has made her classroom a model of quality within the school.
In addition to her work with students, Ms. Iveth is an inspiration to her fellow staff members, leading by example with her professionalism, positivity, and passion for early childhood education. She is deeply valued by both her colleagues and the families she serves, and she has built meaningful, lasting relationships with parents who trust and appreciate her dedication to their children.
