About Cadence Academy Preschool in Cypress, TX
Cadence Academy Preschool is both a faith-based private preschool and a before & after school program that provides an excellent educational childcare experience for families in Cypress. Our classrooms and 5,000 square foot indoor gymnasium encourage physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual growth for all our students infants thru 12 years of age. We’re licensed by the state of Texas and we meet or exceed all state requirements.
Our school is a part of the Cadence Education Family of Schools. We were previously known as Champions Academy of Cypress, but we changed our name to Cadence Academy Preschool in September 2019 as part of our school’s ongoing commitment to providing our children the very best preschool programs.

Jessica Miles
School Director
Jessica Miles brings her experience and talents to the leadership team as she shepherds Conscious Discipline and Social Emotional Learning. Jessica has shown her kind spirit around our school and into our families lives being helpful, understanding, accommodating and setting real life expectations and goals. Jessica, a Houston native, brings over 10 years of experience as well as an educational background full of various training and credentials.
Miesha McBride-Smith
Assistant Director
I have been working in childcare for over 10 years and I have experience in all age groups. Childcare is a fun environment and my passion has always been in managing staff in childcare that will prepare students emotionally, physically, and emotionally. I enjoy planning activities, field trips and more to see the excitement of their day. My goal is to foster each staff and child to grow in an awareness of God’s love and encourage each parent with the confidence of our program. I am the only child and I am originally from Beaumont Texas. I am a newlywed and have a Yorkshire Terrier named “Louis Vuitton”. We attend Lakewood Church and we enjoy praising the Lord.
