Cadence Academy Preschool offers daycare and early education programs for children ages 6 weeks – 12 years old. We have recently renovated our building, where our educators are proud to provide exceptional childhood development programs every fun-filled day in a place as nurturing as home.

Our Collegeville location is one of the few preschools and daycare facilities that you’ll find in the area licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, which requires childhood education certifications for all teachers.

We are fortunate to have many tenured teachers with more than 15 years of experience on staff, and we leverage their experience to develop a unique skills-based curriculum and provide your child with an unparalleled preschool education and success in school. Our preschool and daycare centers in Collegeville feature wonderful enrichment programs like music, art classes, and Tumble Tots at no additional cost.

Our child care center was previously called Flanagan’s Preschool. We changed our name from Flanagan’s to Cadence Academy Preschool, Collegeville in September 2019 as part of our ongoing commitment to providing our families the very best preschool and daycare experience.

Social and emotional development is just as important as intellectual development at the preschool level. Kind Child programming gives us the opportunity to strengthen language development, social skills, and encourage positive friendships. It is one of the core subjects within our monthly curriculum.

Our teachers focus on new social and emotional skills every month and introduce valuable character traits, like a positive self-image, thankfulness, and respect every two months.

Ascend Curriculum

Being a part of the Cadence Education network of child development centers gives us access to preschool programs that you won’t find outside our family of schools. The Ascend Curriculum equips childcare centers with a proprietary skill-based curriculum that is proven to prepare young minds for future academic success.

This curriculum allows us to create unique and powerful learning experiences for every child in our care. We work towards important developmental milestones at every age level and progressively build skillsets within 9 different subjects every month. The teachers at our Collegeville center handle small class sizes and are encouraged to personalize activities to match the interests, learning style, and current skill level of each student so that these early learning experiences are engaging, challenging, and fun!

Our early learning program is designed to nurture curious minds and active little bodies. We understand that during this time of peak development, young children need safe and secure environments and experiences that stimulate their love for life and continuous learning. In small class settings, our teachers and childcare providers fill children’s day-to-day with a diverse range of activities, from arts and crafts, to language and communication, to imaginative play, to counting, and more.

My son attended cadence academy for pre k for two years after having a horrific experience at a skippack daycare. He absolutely loved his time there. He has a disability and did so well there. They were so accepting. This is a place where my son truly felt loved for who he is. He is about to go into 2nd grade and the other day in the car he was remembering his time with Miss Tami with love and fondness. As a parent, I felt he was very prepared for kinder. He was above level by the time he entered kindergarten. We love cadence. So much that we drove 15 minutes out of the way to school to drop him off and during the summer drove 1hr round trip to keep him there a few days a week. Highly recommended.

Moving our child to Cadence Academy was the best decision we have made. My child has Autism and the staff at Cadence Academy is incredibly supportive of our son and his progress. They are very flexible with his therapists that come in daily. Mr. Q, Tami and Lori get so excited everything our child reaches new goal.

My daughter started in the infant room in January. She adjusted immediately and we were happy that she seemed to be happy and doing well. Then in the middle of March, there was a staff change and the infant teachers were replaced by floaters who, by April, had become the permanent teachers in the room. The staff was transparent, letting us know about the change. And when we heard that the floaters would be the permanent teachers, we were incredibly happy. It was a little chaotic in the room for a while, but they made sure that there was care for the babies. And in the middle of all of that change, we also changed up our daughter's sleep and eating schedule a couple of times (only adding to that chaos). We had struggled a little with the previous teachers going off schedule (quite a few times, our daughter's naps started 30-60 minutes early), but the new teachers have kept on top of all the changes and our daughter absolutely thrived, even with pink eye and a cold! When I do drop off, it feels far less chaotic and the new teachers are SO GOOD at listening to every parent and keeping track of all the nuances with each baby. My husband and I have a lot of appreciation for the infant room team because they've been awesome.

Cadence Academy has been a blessing for our family. We started as an infant and a toddler and they still both light up when we get to the school over 6 months later. The teachers are wonderful and you can tell they care about their students. The staff are always so warm and welcoming, stopping to say hi when you come in the building and always open to any question you may have.
