About Creative Kids Preschool in Hopewell Junction
Creative Kids Childcare Centers has been committed to providing children safe and nurturing learning environments since we opened in January 2001. Creative Kids Beekman first opened its doors in March 2007 and was our third Creative Kids location.
Our directors, teachers, and staff have created a welcoming environment that actively encourages young children to develop confidence and a positive self-image. Your child will participate in a wide variety of experiences where they’ll learn about themselves and the world around them.

Our Curriculum
Creative Kids teaches from The Creative Curriculum®, which leverages research and best practices so that we can take the needs of every type of learner into account. The Creative Curriculum® is grounded in 38 research-based objectives, which helps us maintain a high-quality learning environment where every child has the opportunity to become a creative, confident thinker. These objectives are based on school readiness standards and research has shown them to be predictors of future academic success.
Before & After School
Creative Kids Beekman is proud to work with the Arlington Central School District and we offer a fun and safe before and after school program for local elementary students. Our school is on the bus route for the following schools:

- Noxon Road Elementary School – 4 Old Noxon Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603

Programs Offered
Infant Care
Our infant care program invites children starting at the age of six weeks up to 18 months. Though leaving your little one for the first time is a big step, our nurturing environment is designed to feel just like a home away from home. Choosing our program ensures your baby receives personalized attention that supports their earliest developmental milestones.
Toddler Care
Our toddler care program invites children starting at 12 months up to 3 years old. Though toddlers are full of boundless energy, our environment is designed to channel that curiosity into safe exploration. Choosing a program that balances hands-on learning with guided play is a key step in fostering your child’s emerging independence.
Preschool
Our preschool program invites children starting at 3 years up to 5 years old. Though we introduce early academic concepts, we believe that learning happens naturally through open-ended play. Choosing our preschool environment helps build the essential “I can do it” confidence that serves as a foundation for their future education.
Pre-Kindergarten
Our Pre-Kindergarten program invites children starting at 4 years up to 5 years old. Though the focus shifts to kindergarten readiness, we ensure the preparation remains engaging and stress-free. Choosing our specialized curriculum ensures your child is academically and socially prepared for a smooth transition to elementary school.
Private Kindergarten
Our private kindergarten program creates an effortless transition to first grade through a full-day curriculum designed for total developmental readiness. With small class sizes and a nurturing environment, we go above and beyond standard expectations to ensure your child thrives academically and socially.
School-Age Program
Our school-age program invites children starting from kindergarten up to 12 years old. Though the school day ends, our support continues with structured before and after school care. Choosing this program provides a safe space for homework and relaxation that fits perfectly with your family’s busy routine.

I have been part of the Creative Kids team since 2005 and spent my earliest years working in the Infant Programs at our Brewster location. Working as a Lead Infant Teacher made me aware of how much I love being a part of each child’s milestones. Watching a baby’s first steps or hearing their first words and then celebrating those exciting moments with their families was the best part of my day. I took on the role of Assistant Director at our Beekman location in 2017 and this position has allowed me to take part in milestones in every classroom. Celebrating these milestones with an excited mom and dad is still my favorite part of my day.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, my nephews, and my niece. I enjoy playing soccer, softball, and living a well-balanced, active lifestyle.
Tracey Burger
Teacher of the Year
Tracey Burger joined Cadence Education in 2021, bringing with her over 20 years of experience in early childhood education. While she has held supervisory roles throughout her career, her heart has always been in the Pre-K classroom. Tracey’s passion, dedication, and commitment to helping young learners grow make her a true standout—and a proud recipient of this year’s Teacher of the Year award.
