Dila Bujaj
School Director
Dila Bujaj is excited to serve as School Director at Creative Kids Childcare Center Kent. She believes early childhood is a special and tender stage of life, and creating a loving, safe space for children to flourish is one of the most rewarding and heartwarming parts of her work. She is grateful to continue growing with the community of Holmes that shaped her and looks forward to supporting children, families, and teachers each day.
Outside of school, Dila enjoys exploring the outdoors and spending quality time with family and friends. Alongside childcare, she is also passionate about reading, music, and art.
Kathleen Macdonald
Assistant Director
Kathleen Macdonald has been with Creative Kids Childcare Center since 2009. She began as a Teaching Assistant in the Infant Room, earned her Child Development Associate Credential in 2011, and later became a Lead Teacher, where she remained for several years. In July 2019, she was promoted to Assistant Director at the Kent school.
Having three daughters of her own inspired her to work in early childhood education. When they started attending school full-time, she began her career in childcare. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, and their three daughters: Kaitlyn, Lauren, and Megan. She also enjoys camping, softball, and volunteering in her community.
Miss Sam
Teacher of the Year
Miss Sam is the very definition of warmth, kindness, and dedication. She is a spectacular example of what it means to be a teacher—loving her students deeply and going above and beyond every single day. Her little ones light up the moment they see her each morning, and that love never fades, even as they move on to their next chapters. It’s not uncommon to hear excited shouts of “Miss Sam!” from former students who still carry her love in their hearts. In the Infant Room, she builds a strong foundation where every child feels loved, supported, and nurtured during the most crucial months of their development.

We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, providing full-day care to support working families.

We offer programs for children from 6 weeks through 12 years old.
What will my child be learning?
Children learn through a skill-based curriculum that supports development across literacy, math, science, physical fitness, creative expression, social-emotional growth, cultural understanding, technology, and language. Learning is guided by teachers through intentional, age-appropriate activities that build skills step by step while supporting each child’s individual growth. This approach builds confidence, independence, and kindergarten readiness through engaging, hands-on experiences.

We prioritize safety through secure entry systems with individual access codes, trained staff certified in First Aid and CPR, and routine safety drills and emergency preparedness plans.
