About Creative Kids
Creative Kids Childcare Centers are safe and nurturing learning environments for young children. We offer daycare for infants and toddlers, preschool, and an excellent before & after school program for local elementary students. We are open year-round and provide flexible and extended hours.
Our Kind Child program allows us to help young children develop confidence, social skills, and a positive self-image. Our flexible curriculum and dedicated teachers work hand-in-hand to create individualized learning experiences for each child in our care. We also host special community events throughout the year because we believe community service instills positive values and builds character.

Our Curriculum
Creative Kids teaches from The Creative Curriculum®. The Creative Curriculum® is grounded in 38 research-based objectives that support active learning in all developmental areas. This curriculum is inclusive of all children and provides specific strategies and resources for every type of learner, including dual-language learners and those with special needs.

School Director
Early childhood is such a special, tender stage of life, and creating a loving, safe space for them to flourish is one of the most rewarding and heartwarming parts of what I do. I am beyond excited to officially begin this new chapter as the School Director. I am so grateful to continue growing with the community that helped shape me. In my free time, I love exploring and being outdoors and spending quality time with my family and friends. I’m also passionate about reading, music, and art.

I have been with Creative Kids since January of 2009. I started as a Teaching Assistant in the Infant Room. I received my Child Development Associate Credential in 2011 and then became the Lead Teacher, where I remained for several years. In July 2019, I was promoted to Assistant Director and moved to our Kent school.
Having 3 daughters of my own inspired me work with children. When they started going to school full-time, I began my career in childcare. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Scott, and our 3 daughters: Kaitlyn, Lauren and Megan. I enjoy camping, softbalI, and I spend a lot of my time volunteering in my town.
Miss Sam
Teacher of the Year
Miss Sam is the very definition of warmth, kindness, and dedication. She is a spectacular example of what it means to be a teacher—loving her students deeply and going above and beyond every single day. Her little ones light up the moment they see her each morning, and that love never fades, even as they move on to their next chapters. It’s not uncommon to hear excited shouts of “Miss Sam!” from former students who still carry her love in their hearts. In the Infant Room, she builds a strong foundation where every child feels loved, supported, and nurtured during the most crucial months of their development.
