Our Philosophy:
At Eureka Kids, we focus on developing the whole child. That means nurturing not just academic readiness, but also emotional well-being, social skills, creativity, and independence. We believe children learn best when they are actively engaged—when they can explore, ask questions, and discover the world around them through meaningful experiences.
Our role as educators is to guide that process, meeting each child where they are and helping them grow with confidence.
Our Daycare and Preschool Programs:
- Infant Care Program (6 weeks to 16 months)
- Toddler Care Program (16 – 33 months)
- Preschool Program (33 months – 5 years)
- School-Age Program (5 – 12 years)
In the Infant Rooms at Eureka Kids our teachers create inclusive, safe and nurturing environments for our youngest learners to grow and develop. Your child’s developing sense of safety, self-esteem and confidence are important to us.
Our Infant Rooms are designed to meet the social and emotional, language, cognitive and physical needs of infants from the ages of 6 weeks to 16 months. Infants experience incredible growth and change during their first 16 months, and have different needs at different stages. Naptime and feeding schedules are based on each child’s needs. Routines are a vital part of an infant’s day and help build the foundation of trust.
Caregiving is the most important part of our day with your child. Our teachers focus their efforts on responding promptly to meet the needs of each child. This helps to build a child’s sense of safety and security.
In the Toddler Rooms at Eureka Kids our teachers create inclusive, safe and nurturing environments for young and active learners to continue to grow and develop. Your child’s developing sense of safety, self-esteem, independence and confidence are important to us.
Our Toddler Rooms are designed to meet the social, emotional, language, cognitive and physical needs of toddlers from the ages of 16 to 33 months. Toddlers continue to experience incredible growth and change as they approach their preschool years, and have different needs at different stages. Toddlers discover their world through daily routines and active play as their skills and independence develop.
Teachable moments occur during diapering and toileting, meals and feedings, dressing and napping. Our teachers will engage children during daily routines and create an environment rich in guided play and hands-on experiences, as well as quality adult-child interactions which include kind voices, conversations and smiles.
In the Preschool Rooms at Eureka Kids our teachers create inclusive, safe, nurturing and supportive learning environments for preschool students to continue to grow and develop as they prepare for Kindergarten. Your child’s developing sense of safety, self-esteem, independence and confidence are important to us.
Preschool Program is designed to meet the social, emotional, language, cognitive and physical needs of children from the ages of 33 months to 5 years. The S.M.A.R.T.E.R. curriculum and activities we use in our Preschool Rooms are led by each child’s unique needs and abilities, and will nurture the children’s independence, discovery and imagination.
It is the teachers’ role to observe, meet children where they are at developmentally, and enrich their growth and learning experiences. Children are encouraged to become active learners by exploring the world around them, asking questions, having independent ideas and solving problems.

Accreditations
NAEYC Accreditation
Every child deserves access to high-quality early learning experiences. NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) has set 10 standards for early childhood programs that can help families make the right choice when they are looking for a child care center, preschool, or kindergarten. The standards and criteria are also the foundation of the NAEYC Accreditation system for early childhood programs. To earn NAEYC Accreditation, schools must go through an extensive self-study and quality-improvement process, followed by an on-site visit by NAEYC Assessors to verify and ensure that the program meets each of the ten program standards, and hundreds of corresponding individual criteria. NAEYC-accredited programs are always prepared for unannounced quality-assurance visits during their accreditation term, which lasts for five years. In the 30 years since NAEYC Accreditation was established, it has become a widely recognized sign of high-quality early childhood education. More than 7,000 programs are currently accredited by NAEYC—less than 10 percent of all child care centers, preschools, and kindergartens nationally achieve this recognition.

What is our S.M.A.R.T.E.R. Teaching Philosophy?
“The object of education is to prepare the young to educate themselves throughout their lives” ~ Robert M. Hutchins
The teachers and staff will use SMARTER, our center’s educational approach to learning that not only utilizes the basic STEAM philosophy (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) in a fun, play-based, developmentally appropriate learning environment, but will also include Reading and Relationships to develop the whole child.
