About Cadence Academy Preschool in Raynham
Conveniently located on Paramount Drive, Cadence Academy Preschool, Raynham offers high-quality childcare and early education for Infants, Toddlers, Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten.
Our programs offer affordable rates, convenient hours and a great location with easy access to Route 24. In addition, we utilize a nationally recognized curriculum and an approach to education that you will see in action in all our centers. Our developmentally appropriate classrooms are warm and inviting. Within each classroom you will find distinct learning centers such as blocks, sand and water, dramatic play, library, and computers. These well-defined areas present clear activity choices to children and give them control over their time during center time. Learning materials are offered on low shelves and in labeled containers so they are easily accessible to children and they can gain a sense of independence.

- Infants (ages 6 weeks – 1 year)

- School-Age Care (ages 5 – 8) – we can offer care during elementary school vacations and other off-days, as space allows.

Daycare Works
Our Curriculum
Our curriculum provides a strong foundation for children’s academic success and our teachers provide a warm, nurturing environment in which every child can be successful. Children retain more when they are having fun, so our programs emphasize learning through play.
Parent Communication App
We have an extraordinary Parent Communication App that our teachers use daily to relay information and send pictures to family members, send newsletters, and track developmental progress for each child’s portfolio! With this application, parents/guardians are able to opt into email or text alerts and they can receive any information, instantaneously, about their child and their child’s school day.
Teachers and staff can tag daily pictures with our Developmental Domains (Social/Emotional, Physical, Artistic, Cognitive, and Language/Literacy) and are then able to communicate with the parents/guardians by adding captions or sending quick little notes.
Families LOVE this feature and we’re utilizing it more and more each day! We are so excited to be able to communicate with our families throughout the day and to show them what their children are learning each day.

Jecenia Torres
Director
I hold a BA in Human Services, specializing in Early Childhood Education from Fisher College and I am EEC certified through Director II. I have been working in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2005.
My favorite part of working with children is bringing a smile to a child’s face through fun and play! When not at Cadence, I enjoy spending time with my four children, watching movies, shopping, and attending youth football! I am an avid sports mom!

I have an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and Administration. I enjoy working in the early childhood field because teachers plant seeds that grow forever. It is very rewarding knowing the impact you have on such young minds.
Amanda Moniz
Teacher of the Year
My name is Amanda Moniz, and I am a Lead Teacher at Cadence Academy. I studied Early Childhood Education with a minor in Psychology at Bridgewater State and Bristol Community College. I began working in early childhood education in 2015 as a Floater/Infant teacher and have been dedicated to working with infants ever since. What I love most about early childhood education is seeing the world through a child’s eyes and knowing that, as a teacher, I’ve helped them accomplish important milestones. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, taking photographs, exploring new places, and spending time with family and friends. I take my role seriously and believe that open communication with families is key. My goal is always to support children with patience, care, and consistency, while building strong relationships with the families I serve.
