Next Generation Children’s Centers – Best Preschool in Marlborough!

At Next Generation Children’s Centers, we set children up for a bright future with unlimited possibilities, so they can lead an adventurous and fun life. We spark creativity and curiosity by giving children unique opportunities to express themselves and their interests. We build confidence and independence through individualized instruction. Next Generation Children’s Centers (NGCC) has 10 preschools throughout Massachusetts. At NGCC Marlborough, our daycare center and preschool features:

An industrial sanitizer used to keep the school clean and sanitized
A full-service kitchen providing breakfast, lunch, and snacks
Laundry service
A secured entry system
A closed circuit television monitoring of our playgrounds and common spaces
16 Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms
Separate playgrounds for each age group
- Two indoor play spaces and a covered outdoor play area
- Two additional CPSC guideline-compliant outdoor playgrounds

Kids Cafe Preschool Cooking Program

Cooking Up Confidence, One Recipe At A Time!

Kids Café is a hands-on cooking program where children explore new foods, build confidence, and develop essential life skills through fun, guided kitchen experiences.

Program Highlights:

Designed for ages 3+
Weekly sessions over a 12-week program
Hands-on cooking activities and kid-friendly recipes
Builds teamwork, sharing, and communication skills
Encourages problem-solving and following directions
Supports early math, literacy, and critical thinking
Includes a take-home cooking kit for continued fun

Kind Child Program

Another significant part of our curriculum is our Kind Child program. Kind Child is a year-long program for children ages two and older that helps our teachers nurture and strengthen every child’s social and emotional skills. We have found that when we focus on the emotional well-being of each child in our care, we strengthen our school as well. We are confident that Kind Child will continue to strengthen the culture of our entire preschool center by elevating every child’s feelings of happiness, improving their well-being, and enriching their friendships.

Additional Services

Our services were developed with busy parents in mind. We understand how hectic family life can be and our goal is to lighten your load so you can you enjoy every minute you can with your family. Our daycare center provides:

Breakfast – Served to Infants who eat table food and all children in our Toddler program and older.
Lunch – All children are served nutritionally balanced lunches. Menus are planned on a six week cycle. Copies of the menu are available at our front desk and are also updated daily on the lobby white board.
Snacks – One morning and two afternoon snacks are served daily.
Year-Round Childcare – NGCC Marlborough is open 52 weeks per year. We only schedule 10 closed days annually for holidays and staff training.
Laundry Service – Labeled clothes are cleaned as needed and returned to your child’s cubby. Rest time sheets and blankets are laundered weekly for our Toddler through Pre-Kindergarten programs. We launder Infant sheets as needed.

Tasha McNabb

Director

I have been working with children and families in the field of early childhood for more than 21 years. I grew up the oldest of six children in Newton , MA. Coming from such a large family is what gave me my love of working with children. I studied early childhood education at Worcester State University and graduated with my Bachelors of Arts in Early Childhood Education. I am director II certified through the Dept. of Early Education and Care in Massachusetts. In addition to working in the center, I am a mother to boy/girl twins who attend NGCC.

What I love most about working with children is being able to help them explore their world. I love children’s natural curiosity and wonder. I am very fortunate to get to be a part of so many lives while working alongside families. I also love getting to be a part of a larger school community and to watch children grow up while with us.

Karen Rodriguez

Assistant Director

Karen has over 16 years of experience working with young children from infants to preschool! She is certified through the Department of Early Childhood and is also holds Director I and Director II certification. Not only is she an Assistant Director but she is also a mom of two daughters. “I love working in early childhood education because I can learn from the kids. They inspire me to be a better person every day. I enjoy being part of their lives and learning process when they are little and watching them grow”.

I’m excited to be working at Next Generation Children’s Center! I have 13 years’ experience in early childhood working with all ages from infants through PK. I have my associates degree in Early Childhood Education. I also speak Spanish and love adding that language into the classrooms I teach. “I love working with children because there’s so much you can learn from them! I also have four daughters of my own and one grandson, which adds so much joy to my life.”

Our child attended NGCC for 3 years, and he absolutely loved it! One of the best parts of the program is their incredible kid-friendly food which made our daily routine so much easier. They also do a wonderful job keeping the kids engaged with multiple creative activities centered around all kinds of festivals and occasions. A special shoutout to the Center Director, Ms. Tasha. She was always incredibly responsive and truly knew everything that was going on in the daycare at all times. Our child loved going every day, and we highly recommend NGCC to any family looking for a fantastic daycare!

My daughter started at NGCC Marlborough as a toddler when we moved to the area in 2022. At the time, we interviewed several daycare centers, and it was an easy decision to choose NGCC Marlborough. We were attracted by its clean facility, welcoming teachers, and flexible schedule. Four years have passed, and as we approach our daughter’s last day at NGCC Marlborough, we are happy to say that the daycare has never disappointed us. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place that not only provides excellent childcare but also understands and accommodates your family’s schedule while supporting your child’s development. We moved to NGCC Marlborough from another nationwide, chain-based daycare center. Compared with our previous daycare, NGCC Marlborough costs less while also providing meals and snacks, which has been a huge relief for our busy schedule. Parents also receive pictures and updates from teachers through an app, similar to what we experienced at our previous daycare. All of my daughter’s teachers genuinely love children and care deeply about their development. Not long before we moved to NGCC, my daughter had a difficult experience transitioning from the infant class to the toddler class at another center, as she had trouble adjusting to a new environment. We were worried that the same thing might happen when she transitioned to NGCC. Fortunately, we met Ms. Deanna in the toddler class. She was incredibly kind and caring. At one point, Ms. Deanna even took my daughter with her when she needed to go to other classrooms so that my daughter would feel more comfortable. My daughter quickly became attached to Ms. Deanna, and they have remained close over the years. Thank you, Ms. Deanna, for leaving a note in my daughter’s graduation book. It was such a sweet gesture, and it meant a lot to us. Our good fortune did not end in the toddler class. All of our daughter’s preschool and pre-K teachers have been fabulous. Ms. Aurea and Mr. Luke, along with the other pre-K teachers, put a tremendous amount of effort into building an excellent curriculum that helps develop children’s curiosity, learning habits, and readiness for kindergarten. Dear Ms. Aurea and Mr. Luke, your efforts have not gone unnoticed. Thank you! Last but not least, our experience at NGCC Marlborough would not have been the same without the amazing management team—Ms. Tasha, Ms. Sheina, and Ms. Karen. Although Ms. Tasha is the center director, she knows every child by name and genuinely cares about each child as an individual. For example, at one point, we were having a difficult time with drop-offs. My daughter cried every day, and we were frustrated and eager to find a solution. Ms. Tasha proposed a one-on-one meeting with us to better understand the situation and develop a plan to make drop-offs easier. We were impressed that the plan was implemented the very next day—and it worked! Dear Ms. Tasha, Ms. Sheina, and Ms. Karen, we will miss seeing your friendly faces at the front desk every school day. Overall, we have had a very positive experience with NGCC Marlborough. We are incredibly grateful to all the teachers and staff who have cared for and supported our daughter over the past four years. We wish the center and all of its teachers the very best, and we hope that every family has an experience as wonderful as ours with NGCC Marlborough!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Next Generation Children's Center (NGCC) in Marlborough. Both of my kids have attended NGCC. The level of care the teachers provide is truly exceptional. You can tell they are genuinely invested in the well-being and happiness of the children. Equally impressive is the management team. Their communication is consistently prompt, transparent, and incredibly helpful. Incredible teachers and supportive management, both of my children have experienced phenomenal overall growth. NGCC has done an outstanding job of curating a space that genuinely fosters development— both socially and academically. It is amazing to see how much they have blossomed in such a nurturing environment. I highly recommend NGCC Marlborough to anyone looking for a childcare center that truly feels like an extended family!

My daughter attended this center for 3 years. All her teachers and the administrators took wonderful care of her all the while She was there . We always felt they Developed a special bond with her and took pride in watching her grow . She has a loving and consistent environment which is very difficult to find in early child care settings. I want to give a special shoutout to the director Tasha for ensuring a high quality, low staff turnover environment for kids to grow in. Highly recommend this center !
