Our proprietary preschool programming is designed to help you make the most of your child’s first educational experiences. We are proud to lead the way in preparing children for kindergarten. Through our specialized curriculum and dedicated teachers, we strive to ensure that your child is not just ready for kindergarten, but ready to excel.
In 2024, 100% of the Pre-K children assessed in our school demonstrated Readiness or Advanced Readiness for Kindergarten! At Cadence Academy Preschool, we set children up for a bright future with unlimited possibilities, so they can lead an adventurous and fun life. We spark creativity and curiosity by giving children unique opportunities to express themselves and their interests. We build confidence and independence through individualized instruction. We teach patience and empathy through our Kind Child Culture. And, our skills-based curriculum is proven to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.

Kind Child Program
Another significant part of our curriculum is our Kind Child program. Kind Child is a year-long program for children ages two and older that helps our teachers nurture and strengthen every child’s social and emotional skills. We have found that when we focus on the emotional well-being of each child in our care, we strengthen our school as well. We are confident that Kind Child will continue to strengthen the culture of our entire preschool center by elevating every child’s feelings of happiness, improving their well-being, and enriching their friendships.
A School That Feels Like Home
Vibrant colors and busy designs are often overstimulating to young children and can lead to behavioral issues. Our preschool center has homelike learning environments to reduce tension and to help our children transition more successfully from home to school. We use natural tones and soft elements like pillows, fabrics, carpets, and soft lighting to create a nurturing environment where children feel at home and thrive.

Nestled at 8106 Old Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40291, our second Fern Creek area center is positioned perfectly along the bustling Bardstown Road corridor. Integrating morning drop-offs into your daily schedule is effortless with Bates Elementary School and St. Gabriel Catholic School just up the street, plus the scenic trails of Broad Run Park only a short drive away.
When it comes to morning travel, jumping onto the nearby Gene Snyder Freeway (I-265) takes a matter of minutes. That prime highway access gives drivers a hassle-free trip, whether their workday sends them north toward Jeffersontown and Middletown or directly into the heart of downtown.
