Social & Emotional Development

Cadence Academy Preschool offers programs that enhance social and emotional development and we utilize Positive Behavior Support (PBS) because it proactively prevents challenging behaviors by building positive relationships with children and families and creates a supportive environment for our students. This approach was originally created by the Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL) and leverages a pyramid model to address the social and emotional needs of students.

Cadence KickStart™ Soccer

Big Fun. Little Players. Growing Confidence.

Cadence KickStart™ Soccer is a high-energy enrichment program designed to build confidence, coordination, and teamwork through fun, age-appropriate soccer play. Led by the teachers your child already knows and trusts, it’s seamlessly built into the school day.

Program Highlights:

Designed for ages 3–5

12-week program (once per week)

40–50 minute sessions

Builds balance, coordination, and motor skills

Encourages listening, teamwork, and confidence

Integrated into your child’s daily schedule

Getting To Our Preschool

Our Burr Ridge center is located at 7010 S County Line Rd, Burr Ridge, IL 60527, situated along County Line Rd near 71st St. We are conveniently close to local schools including Pleasantdale Elementary School, Elm Elementary School, and Gower West Elementary, as well as the Burr Ridge Village Center, making morning drop-offs, school transitions, and daily family routines quick and seamless.

Positioned less than a mile from Interstate 55 (I-55), Interstate 294 (I-294), and Route 83 (Kingery Hwy), our center provides an easy daily commute for working parents traveling toward Hinsdale, Willowbrook, Oak Brook, or downtown Chicago.

I have been the Director here since January 2018 and have enjoyed working with children for 15 years. My favorite part of my job is meeting new families and being a part of their journey as their children grow with us. I am a mother of 2. My daughter is 3 and my son is a infant. I am happy to have them part of the Cadence family as well. When I am not at work I am enjoying being with my family, reading a new book and cooking.

I am a proud aunt of many nieces and nephews which made interested me in working with children. I have been working with children in the social work field for about 6 1/2 years. I wanted to help children in different way which interested me in continuing to work with children in a different environment which brought me to Cadence Academy Preschool. I love seeing the children’s milestones and smiles every day. I have been working here for two years from being a Lead Infant teacher to an assistant director.

We have been part of this daycare for more than three years, and I truly cannot say enough good things about them. My oldest daughter attended here, and now my two boys are enrolled as well, which says a lot about the trust and confidence we have in this place. The staff is incredibly caring, patient, and attentive with the children. They create a safe, loving, and structured environment where kids can learn, play, and grow. I’ve always felt comfortable leaving my children knowing they are in good hands. Over the years I’ve seen how much effort the teachers put into helping the kids develop socially, emotionally, and academically. They communicate well with parents and genuinely care about every child. I’m very grateful for everything they have done for my family. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a nurturing and trustworthy place for their children.

My son started in September 2025 and It was his first experience at a daycare. We loved cadence. Step by step, the teachers helped him to feel comfortable, he learned a lot and now he is very excited to coming back every morning. The staff is very professional, kind and great with kids.
