About Cadence Academy Preschool in Burr Ridge, IL

Social & Emotional Development
Cadence Academy Preschool offers programs that enhance social and emotional development and we utilize Positive Behavior Support (PBS) because it proactively prevents challenging behaviors by building positive relationships with children and families and creates a supportive environment for our students. This approach was originally created by the Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL) and leverages a pyramid model to address the social and emotional needs of students.
Cadence KickStart™ Soccer
Big Fun. Little Players. Growing Confidence.
Cadence KickStart™ Soccer is a high-energy enrichment program designed to build confidence, coordination, and teamwork through fun, age-appropriate soccer play. Led by the teachers your child already knows and trusts, it’s seamlessly built into the school day.
Program Highlights:
- Designed for ages 3–5
- 12-week program (once per week)
- 40–50 minute sessions
- Builds balance, coordination, and motor skills
- Encourages listening, teamwork, and confidence
- No prior soccer experience needed

Our infant care program invites children starting at the age of six weeks up to 18 months. Toddler Care
Our toddler care program invites children starting at 12 months up to 3 years old. Though toddlers are full of boundless energy, our environment is designed to channel that curiosity into safe exploration. Preschool
Our preschool program invites children starting at 3 years up to 5 years old. Though we introduce early academic concepts, we believe that learning happens naturally through open-ended play. Pre-Kindergarten
Our Pre-Kindergarten program invites children starting at 4 years up to 5 years old. Though the focus shifts to kindergarten readiness, we ensure the preparation remains engaging and stress-free. Private Kindergarten

I have been the Director here since January 2018 and have enjoyed working with children for 15 years. My favorite part of my job is meeting new families and being a part of their journey as their children grow with us. I am a mother of 2. My daughter is 3 and my son is a infant. I am happy to have them part of the Cadence family as well. When I am not at work I am enjoying being with my family, reading a new book and cooking.

I am a proud aunt of many nieces and nephews which made interested me in working with children. I have been working with children in the social work field for about 6 1/2 years. I wanted to help children in different way which interested me in continuing to work with children in a different environment which brought me to Cadence Academy Preschool. I love seeing the children’s milestones and smiles every day. I have been working here for two years from being a Lead Infant teacher to an assistant director.
