Programs Offered at Generation Next Ankeny

Nursery Program (6 Weeks – 6 Months)

Our nursery program fills your little ones days with activities that spur their individual development, help them socialize, and have fun all at the same time. Our kind, caring staff learn how to help each child feel safe, comfortable, and excited to learn through play.

Infant Program (6 Months – 12 Months)

Our infant classrooms are nurturing, peaceful, and developmentally appropriate. Infants are introduced to language, music, and movement through daily story-based activities. Teachers follow your child’s schedule and provide loving, one-on-one interactions that support cognitive and physical milestones.

Toddler Program (12 Months – 2 Years)

Toddlers at Generation Next enjoy hands-on exploration through music, sensory bins, art, and fine motor play. Structured routines foster independence while nurturing early communication and curiosity.

Preschool Program (2 – 4 Years)

With the Read It Once Again® curriculum, children build foundational academic and life skills through rich repetition and hands-on learning. Small group lessons followed by independent play help children explore math, science, literacy, and social-emotional development.

Pre-Kindergarten (4 – 5 Years)

Our Pre-K students are kindergarten-ready thanks to a structured approach that includes Heggerty phonemic awareness, early math concepts, and writing practice. Children also gain confidence in group settings and peer collaboration.

School-Age Enrichment (5 – 10 Years)

Ankeny’s “Graduates” program features daily enrichment with STEAM activities, writing labs, creative centers, and fun field trips during summer. Before- and after-school care supports continued growth and fun beyond the classroom.
