About Sunbrook Academy Preschool in Villa Rica
Sunbrook Academy (formerly Mirror Lake Academy) is a learning environment for students from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. We have been caring for and educating children in the Mirror Lake community in both Douglasville and Villa Rica, Georgia since 2004. We raise the bar for early learning with our Ascend Curriculum. We challenge our students while encouraging them to express themselves creatively through the arts. In addition to our preschool program, we offer programs for school-aged children including Georgia Pre-K, before school care, The After School Zone and Summer Camp.

Healthy Menu
We make a strong effort to teach your child the basics of health and nutrition, offering a nutritious menu that provides your child with a component from each food group, from breakfast to lunch with healthy snacks in between.
A Safe & Secure Learning Environment
At Sunbrook Academy, we strive to provide a safe and secure learning environment for your family, using a keypad door entry system as well as a state of the art thumbprint identification system to check your children in and out. We also have a closed-circuit camera recording system that allows us to monitor what our classes are up to at all times.

Breanna Tarbush
Director
Hi! My name is Breanna Tarbush. I am the Preschool Director here at Mirror Lake. I have worked in early education for 23 years, 20 of which have been with this company.
I live in Temple, GA with my Husband of 19 years and our amazing 16-year-old daughter. I love spending time with my family, going to church, and vacationing at the beach. My daily objective is to live a faith-based life and serve God through the life we are given. Being able to watch children grow and learn is just an extra in this world we live in.
Angie Griffie
Assistant Director
My name is Angie Griffie, and I am the Assistant Director at Sunbrook at Mirror Lake. I started at Mirror Lake in 2009 and worked with summer camps and as a lead teacher with the 3- & 4-year-olds for 14 years before becoming an Assistant Director. I enjoy working with children because they bring so much joy and light to our world! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time on the lake with my family, traveling to concerts, and going to the beach!
Nicole Dunlap
Teacher of the Year
Ms. Nicole has been at Sunbrook at Mirror Lake since February 7, 2022. I am the lead teacher in Senior B. I love having the opportunity to watch the kids grow up and come up with activities that spark their interest. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting, reading, & spending time with my dog.
