About Sunbrook Academy Preschool in Carrollton
Sunbrook Academy (formerly the Bridge Learning Center) provides a learning environment for students from ages 6 weeks to 12 years. We’re located near the Carrollton City Schools in Carrollton, Georgia. Through our Ascend Curriculum, we raise the bar for early learning, challenging our students while encouraging them to express themselves creatively through the arts. In addition to our preschool curriculum and Georgia Pre-K, we offer programs for school-aged children including full-day distance learning support, before school care, The After School Zone, and Summer Camp.

Healthy Menu
We make a strong effort to teach your child the basics of health and nutrition, offering a nutritious menu that provides your child with a component from each food group, from breakfast to lunch with healthy snacks in between.
A Safe & Secure Learning Environment
At Sunbrook Academy, we strive to provide a safe and secure learning environment for your family, using a keypad door entry system as well as a state of the art thumbprint identification system to check your children in and out. We also have a closed-circuit camera recording system that allows us to monitor what our classes are up to at all times.

Cadence KickStart™ Soccer
Big Fun. Little Players. Growing Confidence.
Cadence KickStart™ Soccer is a high-energy enrichment program designed to build confidence, coordination, and teamwork through fun, age-appropriate soccer play. Led by the teachers your child already knows and trusts, it’s seamlessly built into the school day.
Program Highlights:
- Designed for ages 3–5
- 12-week program (once per week)
- 40–50 minute sessions
- Builds balance, coordination, and motor skills
- Encourages listening, teamwork, and confidence
- No prior soccer experience needed

Kids Café Preschool Cooking Program
Cooking Up Confidence, One Recipe at a Time
Kids Café is a hands-on cooking program where children explore new foods, build confidence, and develop essential life skills through fun, guided kitchen experiences.

Skylar Arrington
School Director
My name is Skylar Arrington, and I am the Director of Sunbrook Academy at Carrollton! I have been a part of the Cadence Education family since December 2017, and throughout my journey, I have had the opportunity to grow both as an educator and a leader. I spent six years as a Lead Teacher in the two-year old classroom, where I developed an even deeper love for early childhood education. Being in the classroom and watching children learn new skills, reach milestones, and grow into their own little personalities is truly where my passion began. After my time as a Lead Teacher, I spent three years as an Assistant Director, where I was able to expand my leadership experience while continuing to support children, families, and teachers. I have now stepped into the role of Director at Sunbrook Academy Carrollton, and I am so excited for this new chapter! I am incredibly passionate about working with children and believe there is nothing more rewarding than watching them learn, grow, and discover the world around them. I strive to create an environment where every child feels safe, loved, encouraged, and excited to come to school each day. Since moving to the Carrollton location, I have truly fallen in love with the Carrollton Community. The families, children, and staff have made me feel so welcomed, and I look forward to continuing to build meaningful relationships and making Sunbrook Academy at Carrollton a place where children thrive, families feel at home, and teachers feel supported and appreciated. Outside of work, my faith and family are very important to me. I am heavily involved in my church and enjoy being an active part of my church community. I also love spending quality time with my family and making memories with the people who mean the most to me. I am so grateful to be part of the Sunbrook Academy at Carrollton family and look forward to all the wonderful memories and milestones ahead!
Anna Cosper
Assistant Director
My name is Anna Cosper, and I am the Assistant Director at Sunbrook Academy at Carrollton. I am 26 years old and previously worked with Cadence for a year before returning to the company in 2023. I am so thankful to be back doing what I love! I originally attended West Georgia Technical College for Radiology, but along the way, I realized that my true passion and purpose were in early childhood education. There is something incredibly special about being a part of children’s lives during their most formative years. I love having the opportunity to encourage our future leaders, watch them learn and grow, and help mold them into kind, confident, and amazing little humans. When I first started at Sunbrook Academy, I began as an infant closer before becoming a long-term substitute paraprofessional in Georgia Pre-K. After the school year ended, I transitioned into the role of Lead Junior Toddler Teacher, where I continued growing my experience and love for early childhood education. When I returned to Sunbrook in 2023, I became a Lead Teacher in the 3/4-year-old classroom. I have always enjoyed helping wherever I am needed, whether that means supporting other classrooms, assisting my coworkers, or helping plan and participate in special events throughout our school. After receiving my Paraprofessional Certificate, I had the opportunity to return to Georgia Pre-K as a paraprofessional. When my co-teacher later moved on, I decided to return to where my heart truly was—teaching our 3- and 4-year-olds. It was during this time that I joined the ELP program, giving me another opportunity to grow professionally, strengthen my leadership skills, and continue working toward the next step in my career. Each role I have held at Sunbrook has taught me something different and helped shape me into the educator and leader I am today. Outside of work, family and softball are a huge part of my life! I am a proud mom to my daughter and two bonus children. I also coach 8U travel softball and enjoy playing coed softball myself. When I’m not at school or on the ball field, you’ll most likely find me spending quality time with my fiancé and our children. I am incredibly grateful to be part of a profession that allows me to make a difference in the lives of children and their families every single day. Watching our children grow, succeed, and become the best versions of themselves is truly the most rewarding part of what I do!
