About Sunbrook Academy Preschool in Carrollton
Sunbrook Academy (formerly the Bridge Learning Center) provides a learning environment for students from ages 6 weeks to 12 years. We’re located near the Carrollton City Schools in Carrollton, Georgia. Through our Ascend Curriculum, we raise the bar for early learning, challenging our students while encouraging them to express themselves creatively through the arts. In addition to our preschool curriculum and Georgia Pre-K, we offer programs for school-aged children including full-day distance learning support, before school care, The After School Zone, and Summer Camp.

Healthy Menu
We make a strong effort to teach your child the basics of health and nutrition, offering a nutritious menu that provides your child with a component from each food group, from breakfast to lunch with healthy snacks in between.
A Safe & Secure Learning Environment
At Sunbrook Academy, we strive to provide a safe and secure learning environment for your family, using a keypad door entry system as well as a state of the art thumbprint identification system to check your children in and out. We also have a closed-circuit camera recording system that allows us to monitor what our classes are up to at all times.

I began my early childhood education career in 2012, and over the years, I’ve had the privilege of growing both personally and professionally—from working directly with young children to leading as a center director. I love watching children discover new things and grow in confidence every day. It’s fun and inspiring to see how much children can learn through play, imagination, and creativity. I love everything outdoors from Jeeping, camping to gardening. I have been married to my best friend for over 20 years and have 2 children Jenni and Kaylee along with 2 dogs-Ammo and Remi. I love to spend time with my family.

I have taught in every age from Infants to Summer Camp. Recently I was a paraprofessional in pre-k, but I am now teaching in the 3’s and 4’s. I have been in childcare for 8 years and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I graduated from Heard County in 2018 and furthered my education at WGTC. Alongside teaching, I coach middle school softball and West Georgia Nightmare softball. Before teaching, I first fell in love with photography. I started capturing my niece’s innocent smile with my iPhone and bought my first camera just a few months later. I have a daughter, Dallas, and 2 dogs – Nala and Tucker. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and coaching softball.
