Welcome to Sunbrook Academy at Barnes Mill in Austell, Georgia! Our preschool center offers a warm, loving atmosphere and year-round educational programs that encourage a lifelong love of learning. Our preschool makes the most of your child’s first educational experiences through our Ascend Curriculum, which takes a skill-based approach to academic, physical, creative, and social-emotional development.

Our daycare and preschool programs work in coordination to progressively build skill sets within 9 different subject areas so that every student gains the skills and confidence they need for future academic success. Our teachers are encouraged to individualize activities to accommodate the interests and current skill level of each student, which makes these first educational experiences fun and engaging!

Kind Child

Kind Child is a proprietary program that allows us to develop social skills and important character traits. Kind Child is a regular subject within our Ascend Curriculum and we focus on social-emotional skills each month and character traits such as Respect, Responsibility, Sharing, and a Positive Self-Image every two months. We want every child to feel at home at our preschool and we have found that we focus on the emotional well-being of each child in our care, we strengthen our school too!

Food for Thought

Sunbrook Academy is also dedicated to your child’s physical well-being. Our Food for Thought Program ensures that our students are fed nutritious meals and snacks that nurture both body and mind. Our Food for Thought menus feature fresh fruits and vegetables, low-fat proteins, and a limited amount of sugar. Ask to see our menus when you come in for a visit!
