About Cadence Academy Preschool in Alpharetta, GA

Cadence Academy Preschool (formerly Peachtree Park Prep) offers an enriching and challenging preschool environment that lovingly prepares young children for future academic and professional success.

If you’re looking for a well-balanced preparatory experience that goes much deeper than typical daycare programming, you’ve come to the right place! Our preschool programs give our students a solid foundation in core subjects such as Reading, Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science, but we balance these activities with lots of fun and specialty instruction in Art, Music, Spanish & Chinese, and Physical Education.

Loving to Learn

Loving to Learn is a theme that runs through each and every class at Cadence Academy Preschool. Your child’s first educational experiences are extremely important because they shape how your child will respond to educational opportunities throughout their academic career. We have high academic standards at Cadence Academy Preschool, but we achieve them through exciting and engaging educational activities so our preschool students can naturally develop a love of learning.

Kind Child

Kind Child is a program that helps us focus on the development of character and social-emotional skill. We want every child to feel at home at our preschool and Kind Child is the perfect way for our students and staff to make kindness a habit. We work on social and emotional skills every month and a valuable character trait such as Thankfulness, Empathy, Respect, and a Positive Self-Image every two months. Our goal is to elevate the emotional well-being of every child in our care and enrich friendships!

Getting to Our Preschool

Cadence Academy Preschool – North School is a block north of Old Milton Parkway (SR 120) in Alpharetta, Georgia. We’re next to Alpharetta Fire Station 84 on the east side of Park Bridge Parkway and our address is 225 Park Bridge Pkwy, Alpharetta, GA 30005. Director

Peachtree Park Prep, North School opened its doors in January of 1998. My young children were some of the first students to attend. Six months later I applied for a job and started in our Toddler I Classroom. A few months later, I was moved up front and never left! I was promoted to Assistant Director and shortly after became Director. I celebrated my 20th anniversary in July of 2018!

The last eight years I managed both campuses – North School and Johns Creek. It has been amazing watching the children grow and thrive throughout the years and I still keep up with so many of them! Happily married to my husband, Keith, for 28 years. We have two children – Harper (24) and Harrison (23). We love to travel to warm climates and I love to practice yoga. It has been my pleasure to spread our moto of “Loving to learn” throughout the community over the years.

Whatever I say for this school will be less and won’t do justice to the school management that is Ms. Mickie, Ms.Kelly and the lovely teachers my child had Ms. Kavitha and Ms. Supriya. I found this school after a lot of research and decided to drive over 1 hour each way to this school because IT WAS WORTH IT! Not only did my child learn and now reads but also thrived there! The entire staff is sooooo welcoming. Even the class teachers of other classes knew my child’s name! Ms. Mickie and Ms. Kelly has been there for 25 years now and I think that stability itself says a lot about the school. I wish they actually had a K-12 as well!!!!! I wish someday they do!!!!!! I gave them 5 stars because there’s no option to give more and if there were I would have maxed out giving them stars every time!

Thank you Thank you Thank you It must be one of the best years of my son's life. We are so grateful to this school for so many things. Ms. Maria, Ms. Alice and Ms. Leslie are both great teachers. They and the whole team work so hard and love him so much and teach him so many things. They keep up a big effort every week. I am and will always be grateful for everything that you, Mickie and your team is doing. I must also add Ms. Kelly's big welcome everyday. It has been so helpful for my son to start the day happily. Her supervision over the entire team makes us, the parents, so comfortable in leaving our son there without any doubt. Music, PE, Art classes have all been so much fun for him. He has improved his skills in many aspects. We are so happy to meet you all. Thank you!

One of the best schools in the city. The teachers and staff are great and my son loved going here. (He graduated from pre-K this May) I have seen such a difference in his growth and development. He learned so much and had Lots of fun attending. I’m so glad I made the choice of enrolling him here.

My child has been going to Cadence for 2 years now and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The teachers treat my child as if they are their own- with so much love, patience, attentiveness, and compassion. Not to mention their rigorous curriculum that challenges my child to think outside of the box on a daily basis. I looked everywhere before stumbling across this gem of a daycare and no other place compares!
