Our Team
Lourdes Perez
School Director
Lourdes Perez is the School Director at Springview Montessori Academy, bringing more than a decade of experience in early childhood education to her role. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership with a specialization in Human Resources Administration from Barry University and is currently pursuing her MBA. Lourdes began her career in early childhood education in 2014 as an infant teacher and has since grown through several leadership roles, including Administrative Assistant, Assistant Director, and School Director. She has been a proud member of the Cadence Education family for over five years.
Lourdes is passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment where every child feels valued, confident, and inspired to learn. She believes a preschool should feel like a second home — a place where children feel loved, encouraged, and excited to explore the world around them. Building meaningful relationships with families, maintaining open communication, and fostering a warm school community are at the heart of everything she does. Her goal is for every child to grow academically, socially, and emotionally while developing a lifelong love of learning. Outside of work, Lourdes enjoys spending time with her family and her daughter, who continue to inspire her every day.

NECPA
The NECPA Commission is dedicated to cultivating high quality early childhood programs across the country through “Encouraging Quality and Recognizing Excellence.” The NECPA Standards were derived from the National Health and Safety Performance Standards, which were developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Public Health Association. The NECPA Standards measure quality in the areas of adult/child interaction, health and safety of the physical environment, staff framing, and the relationship between administration, parents, and the community.
