Lourdes Perez
School Director
Bringing more than a decade of experience in early childhood education, Lourdes Perez serves as School Director with a deep passion for creating environments where children feel supported, valued, and inspired to learn. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership with a specialization in Human Resources Administration from Barry University and is currently pursuing her MBA. Since beginning her career in 2014 as an infant teacher, Lourdes has grown through a variety of leadership roles, including Administrative Assistant, Assistant Director, and School Director. Over the past three years, she has proudly been part of the Cadence family, working alongside dedicated educators to provide children with a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
Lourdes believes that a preschool should be more than a place of learning, it should feel like a second home for children and families. She is committed to building meaningful relationships with families, fostering open communication, and creating a caring school community where every child can thrive. Outside of work, Lourdes enjoys shopping, exploring home décor ideas, discovering new restaurants, staying active through walking and running, and spending time with her daughter, Stacey, and her dog, Max. She looks forward to partnering with families and making each child’s early education journey a positive and memorable experience.

NECPA
The NECPA Commission is dedicated to cultivating high quality early childhood programs across the country through “Encouraging Quality and Recognizing Excellence.” The NECPA Standards were derived from the National Health and Safety Performance Standards, which were developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Public Health Association. The NECPA Standards measure quality in the areas of adult/child interaction, health and safety of the physical environment, staff framing, and the relationship between administration, parents, and the community.
