About Cadence Academy
Welcome to Cadence Academy Columbine in Littleton, Colorado! We are proud to share that we have been voted in the top 3 for Best Preschools of 2021 by the readers of Colorado Parent!
Our early childhood development center offers child care and educational development for infants through Pre-Kindergarten. We deliver the perfect combination of qualified teachers, engaging activities, and interactive learning environments for your child’s early education.

Child Care Programs
Our highly experienced early childhood educators are passionate about caring for and developing the students in their classroom. Our Ascend Curriculum enables our teachers to individualize instruction according to the interests and learning style of each child and utilizes other well-known programs such as Baby Signs. This individualized, Whole Child approach allows each child to be engaged, supported, and challenged.
We offer the following preschool programs:
- Infant Childcare (ages 6 weeks to 1 year). Our caring teachers provide regular updates on your baby’s progress in this nurturing environment.
- Toddler Childcare (ages 1 to 2). Your little one will start to discover the world through our daycare’s theme-based curriculum that encourages play, language, and exploration.
- Early Learners (ages 2 to 3). Our early learners preschool program nurtures children’s agility, creativity, and perception of the surrounding world.
- Preschool (ages 3 to 4). In this preschool program, your growing youngster can participate in stimulating learning opportunities, better preparing them for Pre-K.
- Pre-Kindergarten (ages 4 to 5). To make sure children are ready for kindergarten, our Pre-K program helps expand your child’s reading, vocabulary, math, problem solving, and motor skills.
- Private Kindergarten (ages 5 to 6) Our Private Kindergarten program ensures that children are prepared to thrive in elementary school and beyond!
- School-Age Program (ages 5 to 12). In this before and after school program, we make sure your child receives homework help, spends time studying, and enjoys fun time with friends.
- Summer Camp Programs (ages 5 to 12). This fun summer experience offers lots of action and adventure while promoting activities that enhance skills vital to each child’s upcoming grade.

What Makes Our Child Care Center in Columbine, CO Unique
We have the best Before and After School Program in Littleton, featuring a special“Homework Club.” Because both Jefferson and Littleton School Districts ask that very child spend 20 minutes daily reading, we have set up a quiet time for this important reading time to take place each day at our center. This daily reading session at our center allows your child to spend quality time with you at home.
We offer free transportation to and from the following elementary schools:
- Normandy Elementary
- Dutch Creek Elementary
- Leawood Elementary
- Front Range Elementary
- Columbine Hills Elementary
- Blue Huron Elementary
During the summer months, we have a fantastic Summer Camp program where the children ride the Cadence Bus and take field trips to a number of fun locations.

Cadence Academy Columbine is located at 6768 W Ottawa Ave, in Littleton, Colorado 80128. You can find us at the intersection of Coalmine and Pierce. We are conveniently located near Blue Heron, Normandy, Columbine Hills, Dutch Creek, and Leawood Elementary Schools.

Cindy Camacho
Assistant Director
My name is Cindy and I have been working in education for more than 12 years. Early Years is such a fun age and I enjoy working and laughing with my students.
I’ve called New York, Arizona, Colombia, Thailand and now Colorado home. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time in nature, drawing, and finding my new favorite restaurant.
I’m so excited to be part of the team here at Cadence as Assistant Director, come say hi!
Sarah Hernandez

Hi! My name is Sarah, to tell you a little bit about myself I’m a Colorado native born and raised. I graduated from Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch in 2019. Since graduating I’ve worked mostly as a preschool cook and as an Assistant General Manager.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors, listening to music and hanging out with my girlfriend and friends.
Jaimie Palmer

My name is Jaimie. I have been in childcare since 2012 and with Cadence Academy since September 2018. My husband, Travis and I have two girls, Haven and Carolina. We have three dogs, Joy, Piston and Enzo. I am a Colorado native. I love being outdoors, animals and stock car racing. I have an identical twin sister, Jessica.
Tami Sadler

Hello, my name is Ms. Tami. I have been in childcare for 18+ years and have worked for Cadence Academy since January 2010. I am Infant Nursery Supervisor qualified as well as Lead Teacher qualified.
I have one of the best ages to work with, because I LOVE Babies! I have 3 grown sons, my oldest has blessed me with five grandchildren. My middle son became a doctor and my youngest is in the National Guard. I love all animals, cooking and crafting. But most of all I love my babies.
Paula Bustam

My name is Paula. I have been with Cadence Academy Columbine since June 2021. I have been in the childcare field since the mid 1990’s. My classroom assignment is in Nursery A, but in my role as an assistant teacher you may see me in different rooms helping to support the program.
My passion is working with children. I have 1 daughter and 1 son. My favorite pastime in gardening.
Tiffany Gurule

My name is Tiffany and I have been a part of the Cadence family since November 2019! Before coming to Cadence Academy, I worked with all age groups from infants to school agers. I love working with the little guys because you get to see so much growth from them in just the short time, they are with you and their love for learning new things is simply captivating.
When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my own little people. I have two children of my own plus three bonus babies ranging in age from almost 1 to 11 years old. As a family we love to venture out to museums, amusement parks and anything else we can find!
I look forward to getting to know you and your family and learning more about your little ones.
Kaylee Steinbach

Hi, I’m Mrs. Kaylee! I have been at Cadence for about three years. I have been working in childcare for six years with all ages from infants to school age. I love to watch all of our kids learn and grow as they move from room to room.
I am married to my wonderful husband Brandon. Together we have two kids. Camden who is five years old and Nina who is four months old.
We like to spend a lot of time outside dirt biking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.

Hello, my name is Ms. Jena. I have been in childcare for over 2 years. I am a Lead Teacher. I have my CDA and I’ve been a Lead for a year. I love teaching children and watch them learn and grow. I enjoy seeing the world through their eyes. I can’t wait to meet your little one and seeing what we can learn together. I am married with 2 children of my own. We love being together and our favorite thing to do is going on vacation and seeing new places. We love traveling and spending quality time together.

Hello! My name is Cassie Paino and I have been a Lead Teacher at Cadence Academy Preschool starting in January of 2020. Even when I was young, it was always a passion of mine to inspire little ones. I am so thrilled that I am finally able to do that every day! I was raised in Littleton, Colorado and I received my diploma from Options High School. I also received my Child Development Associate in July of 2020. I have a lovely little family which consists of my husband Jeff, my stepdaughter, Aurora, and my daughter, Raven. I enjoy reading lots of good books and hiking with my family in my free time. I look forward to teaching your little ones and helping them grow!
